As part of my review into roses, I plan to review the main areas of rose growing in detail. The areas that I will cover are, how to design gardens to incorporate roses, the preparation of the soil and the physical planting of roses and the routine care required for rose growing. Review of Roses

An Essence of Brilliance!

Advantages: Gorgeous scent, will last you a while, leaves hair soft and shiny
Disadvantages: None

the shower when washing her hair...a tad over the top but somewhat memorable I suppose. Their shampoos are widely available in most chemists and supermarkets so its quite easy to find their products when out doing your shopping. Now to this particular shampoo. As I mentioned, this shampoo is called Silk 'n' Shine, and is part of the 'Herbs and Botanics' range of Herbal Essences shampoos (they also produce Fruit Fusions and Rainforest Flowers). This shampoo comes in a clear plastic bottle with a lovely picture at the back of the shampoo of roses, giving it a very girly and pretty look. The shampoo itself is also a light pink colour and offsets nicely with the picture on the back of the bottle. It has the Herbal Essences logo at the top, with a 'Shine Satisfaction' badge, which fills you with hope that you will indeed get wonderful shine from you ...

Review of Clairol Herbal Essences Replenisher Shampoo

Not quite a bunch of roses : Cadbury's Roses

Advantages: Nice chocolate, a couple of good fillings
Disadvantages: Lack of variety of fillings, lots of old flavours are now missing

While in Morrisons, I looked all through the usual offerings of things like Kit-Kats, Bounty Bars, Maltesers etc., but none of them seemed to appeal to me. Then, my eyes rested on a wire trolley-load of boxes of Cadbury's Roses, on special offer, at £1.99. My eyes kind of lit up, my spirits lifted slightly, and I dumped one of the boxes in my trolley. I actually forgot I'd bought them until I got home and unpacked the shopping. Now, I don't trust myself with this amount of chocolates, especially if I'm using them as comfort food, as I can be in danger of eating the whole box all at once - so, I divided ...
