I’m funny when it comes to browsers I guess you just get used to the one you use and find it strange when you try out a new one. I currently use I.E. 8 but find it freezes every so often, and have as yet not decided if it is the browser or my PC which is causing the problem, anyhow I decided to give Google Chrome a try and see how good it was since I had heard nothing but good things about it.
After doing a Google search I found the download site and proceeded to get the download. It was all really simple and easy and within half an hour I had the new browser available on my computer. The first thing I noticed was that the page load time had significantly reduced meaning my webpages were loading a lot faster, which is a good thing. I have however found that certain websites seem to take and eternity to load, especially if they are graphics heavy.
The overall look and feel of Google Chrome is very good and I feel quite comfortable with its interface, it doesn’t take nearly as long as I thought to re-adjust to the different layout. I particularly like the option of having your favourite favourites lined up along the top of the screen just under the address bar which is larger than I.E’s address bar. Everything about Google Chrome does appear to be more logical than I.E and although things are placed differently this is not inconvenience after about 30 mins in the new browser.
Within the tools option you can freely set up Chrome to be just the way you want, you can delete history and even open windows incognito, which means the sites visited here are not recorded, which unless you are doing something top secret or illegal is something I have never quite seen the point of. I have been using it now for a few months off and on and although on the whole it is a better and faster browser than I.E. I have had several cases of it crashing which is really irritating. On restart of the browser you can have it restore you previous browsing, but the chances are the crash had peed you off so much that you just start from fresh again.
It is for the crashing reason alone that I have now found myself back with my old and trusted I.E or on the odd occasion Firefox which I have also found to have benefits over both other browses mentioned, and again some minor glitches that have forced me to return to I.E
I STILL USE chrome now and then, and I still think it is a really good browser, as I touched on initially I was unable to determine my I.E. crashes and I therefore might have to conclude that the problems I had with Chrome were not entirely Chrome’s fault but a fault somewhere within my operating system. Since I have no inclination to start searching for the problem which might or might not exist, I’m going simply to stick with I.E for now, since as things stand it is still the one which works for the longest without any problems.
Advantages: Very easy to use and navigate Disadvantages: Now I have to choose between Chrome and Firefox
Google Chrome is a free to download web based browser similar to Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox. It has been developed and released by Google and currently hold a 1% share of the web browser market which for an application that only came out just a few months back is in my opinion a very good start. Chrome was originally released for all windows xp and vista based pc's as a beta version on 2nd September 2008 and is currently being developed ... ...friendly operation. Overall given that Chrome is being developed and marketed by internet leaders Google I personally feel it will be not long before it is Chrome and not Firefox who will become Internet Explorers biggest rival. Only time will tell! Summary: Internet Explorer your days are numbered ...

...review. What is Google Chrome It's a web browser, similar to IE, Netscape or Mozilla that allows you surf the net and enjoy the delights of the world wide web. It's been developed by Google as an alternative to the big names and from what I hear is already making a big impact. How do you get it? Simple, I found the Google Chrome website by using Google (funnily enough) and within seconds was looking at the download page. OH was a little skeptical, ... ...What are the benefits? Google Chrome doesn't have any annoying tool bars cluttering up the top of the page, there's the address bar and that's it which leaves a lot more room to view the web page you're looking at, which frankly is the whole point. I don't want a load of crap getting in the way when all I want to do is check my emails etc... In addition to this, as with Firefox, you have the option of the browser remembering passwords for sites you ...

...suddenly remembered that I'd heard Google had released a browser too. I checked out the website and like what I saw, so I went ahead and downloaded it. In late 2008 Google said hello to the browsing world competing directly with Mozilla, Safari, Opera and of course Microsoft's Internet Explorer, with the release (originally of the Beta version) of Google Chrome. The search engine giant (among other things) were expanding once more from the Email client they've provided for a few years (Gmail/Googlemail), the purchase of Youtube meaning they had a video playing site, the google docs software that ... ...over hyped part of the Google machine.
Chrome was easy enough and quick to download (though memory of how long it took isn't in my head any more it wasn't long) and it was fully installed within an hour or so. ...main browser - I think Google Chrome is by far the best web browser, even better than Firefox. Speed: Google Chrome is incredibly fast at starting, browsing and all of the actions you can carry out in Chrome are fast. Google has combined the usual search boxes and address bars found in Firefox and IE into one - this is really good as it saves space and makes Chrome look sleek. You can type an address in the bar, or you can just type any search term and a Google results page for your search will be return - this is one of my favourite features. The standard homepage is also very special and is unlike anything in other browsers. The main part of the ...

Advantages: Removes all traces of your online activities Disadvantages: None at all!!!!
Ccleaner is, by far, the best cleaners I've ever used. The application is a freeware system optimization, privacy and cleaning tool. It doubles up as a fully featured registry cleaner, as it cleans unused files from your computer, enabling your system to run faster and having more valuable disk space for future uses. The application also cleans away your online activities traces such as your history. This application is smartly designed, which makes it super easy to erase your traces from Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, and GoogleChrome from various Windows programs, and from some third-party applications.
Although Ccleaner does not support important programs like what some others do, Ccleaner can erase your traces from popular programs like Spybot. Ccleaner now offers secured file erasing along with a Registry-cleaning utility ...

offers two checkbox-style lists of things it'll clean. These include all the major browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera and Chrome) and various other applications infamous for storing unnecessary clutter, including Microsoft Office and Google Earth.
CCleaner tidies up system files, like clipboards and log files, and its scanning tool searches for common problems worth fixing.
It can also hunt down and fix common Registry errors, which can help improve the performance of your computer - which it did so well for me.
It is very easy to navigate and to use, you don't need to be an IT genius.
There are four tabs in the left hand side of the page - cleaner, registry, tools and options.
Click on the 'Cleaner' button, you will see two buttons, Windows and Applications.
On clicking the Windows button you have the ability to ...
