make it 20 minutes
Advantages: good tips Disadvantages: none
Ready Steady Cook is presented by Ainsley Harriot, and this is an interesting programme, it has two chefs who have to make something nice with a bag of goodies that two contestants have brought with them. There is usually a budget to how much they can spend. Then the two chefs have a certain amount of time to cook up something nice.
I like watching the show, it’s amazing at time what the chefs can make with simple ingredients. The show is ... ...adds to the entertainment. He might have failed in America, but I think that he does an excellent show presenting it.
This is a cooking show where you could learn some handy tips, and I like the way they have additional information on Teletext, as it is really difficult to remember everything. ...

Sainsbury's is so good
Advantages: looks good, range of content, comps and money off Disadvantages: sometimes hard to find a copy - they go quickly or aren't displayed well
I found the sainsburys magazine to be a good read compared to other supermarket magazines. But I would only pick it up at the checkout if it was obviously on sight - I wouldn't go out my way or ask staff for it.
However saying that it is colourful, glossy and as well put together as normal magazines and contains easy to follow recipes and interesting features along the topics of home, garden and cooking.
a good point is that it contains meals on ... ...issue I read had a burger recipe to feed four for a fiver and they actually tasted very nice - it was a recipe from jamie oliver also - which I think is great.
This magazine has regular competitions, money off coupons and vouchers. The issue I read had money saving vouchers for wine - which I don't drink so didn't use, also some money off coupons for butter and a new flavour of jelly which I did use saving me about 50p altogether.
The copy I picked ...

~Good Food is more than a Good Read~
Advantages: informative, full of recipes, tips and interesting articles Disadvantages: Too many adverts
...have been a subscriber to Good Food for about 2 years now, and look fowrard each month to the latest issue. At a cost of £2.99 it may seem a little on the expensive side, but I do feel it is good value for money.
Apart from the usual recipe ideas, it also covers topics like What's in season, which is very helpful if you want to cut down on food miles, it also means buying what is in season is cheaper than buying something that's not that has been ... ...James Martin and a very good readers questions page, which I have found answers things I was interested in knowing too., it also runs with the BBc Good Food website.
This is a well produced top quality magazine for all foodies out there.
The only slight thing I don't like about it is there seems to be a lot of adverts. ...

Olive a bit of that!
Advantages: Latest food discussions. Easy to follow recipes. Fresh approach to food. Disadvantages: Not always good for those living outside London, celebrities
...second category and so does Olive magazine and for this reason would like to share my experience and opinion about the product.
------Background------
The magazine is produced by BBC magazines as a separate publication to the BBC's other food related magazine of BBC Good Food. The profits are returned to the BBC for the benefit of the license fee-fee payer which is something you don’t hear these days. You can buy this on a monthly basis and is ... ...glass of wine (recommended by Olive of course!) and read at a leisurely pace. I feel that whilst recipes are useful, they are not great reading material and much prefer to read about the latest issues and findings and concerns of the food world. I love articles such as the ‘what’s all the fuss about organic?’ and ‘which rum makes a killer piña colada’ as the issues they discuss are at extreme ends of the News scale , one being a current topical debate ...
