I purchased my Graco Playtime Swing before my second son was even born. With my first born I was given an older version, and to me it was the best thing since sliced bread. How parents coped before hand I don't know, they must have had a lot of patience and tired arms!
If I need to do some work or just have a few mins to myself the swing comes out and keeps my son entertained for a good half hour at least. The best thing is that most of the time it sends him to sleep.

Advantages: Fun, Gives you a bit of peace, Very tough Disadvantages: It once collapsed on my daughter as I had not checked it was open properly, toy bar is boring.
I bought my Gracoswing 18 months ago as I had a half price offer on the swing. My daughter used it for about 8 months and it has since been passed on to two friends for them to use for their babies. It is one of the best baby buys and has proved to be great value for money and very hard wearing.

The Gracobabyswing is a battery operated swing suitable for babies from birth up to 11kg, which is about 9 months. The swing has six different swing speeds, 3 recline positions, 10 different musical tunes, volume control, timer and a toy bar. It is by far one of the best baby buys I made. The idea is that you put your baby in the swing to soothe them, rock them to sleep, entertain them, or to just keep them somewhere safe while you do a job in another part of the room ...

This is truley a great item for any baby. Give mum some time to herself, to shower, and relax in general. I had one of these for all 3 of my babies and would buy another if i ever had anymore! It has 3 speeds so for newborns or young ones you can go slower and as they get heavier you up the speed to cope with their weight. the toys on the tray are good to to keep them entertained and the music is good and can be turned dow as they start to drop off. The timer looks like a good gadget but infact i never used it as it was not long enough and they needed to keep swinging if only slow to keep them happy or asleep. ...
