When I was pregnant a family member offered to buy my husband and I the pram for our baby. I was 35 weeks pregnant when she took me to a shop which sells the end of line prducts from bigger shops such as Argos, Index etc.
After being there for what seemed like forever, I narrowed my search down to 2 prams. The Graco Capri and the Cosatto Lunar stroller. Both were suitable from birth, were lightweight and although the Cosatto was a bit more expensive they were both reasonably priced. So what made me choose the Capri over the lunar?
Well, I needed something lightweight and easy to push. I couldnt have something like a travel system as they were too big and bulky and there was no way i could push one along. The cosatto came with a free raincover but the capri came with a raincover and a cosytoes which is brown and also has the checked pattern on the bottom.
The Capri has 5 reclining positions and also has a small shopping tray. The safety harness is adjustable and the wheels can be locked in one position or by the flick of a switch on the wheel itself, can be altered to turn.
My daughter is now almost 5 months old and has been in this pram since she was 2 weeks old. I take her everywhere in it and we have never had any problems. I dont think i will ever need to change it because it is quite durable. I would reccomend this pram to anyone looking for something small, lightweight and stylish. It is neutral colourwise so if you dont know the gender of your baby (like me!) it will suit either a girl or a boy.
The price of this was £69.99 with a free raincover and cosytoes although prices may vary.
Advantages: LIGHTWEIGHT Disadvantages: NOT DURABLE
This Graco pram, I though would be perfect for getting my 3 year old son around, although this pushchair is suitable from birth. I already own a Graco Voyager and although it is a great pram it is quite big, bulky and heavy. So moving to this seemed like the perfect idea. It cost only £80 at the time and seemed like a normal midrange sort of buggy AND it came with the raincover which is one up from the voyager which had no raincover supplied. It ... ...me to contact Graco support who then told me that they did not make the pram, they just stick their name on it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is not sturdy after a few weeks. It seems to become quite shakey and becomes a complete nightmare to turn.
Definitely not recommended!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ...
