I am thirty one years old with 2 sons aged 20 months and 1 month. I have joined Ciao to give my brain a bit of exercise after a long day singing about the wheels on the bus!

I bought my Graco Quattro Tour Travel System in 2003 for my first child. It cost £239.99, which included pushchair, apron, car seat and in car base. I felt this was excellent value for money, giving us everything we needed.
After 17 months of use, I still have a mostly positive opinion.
The pushchair has 4 positions from flat for newborns, through to upright for babies who can sit unsupported. Lying flat my newborn son always seemed comfy with plenty of room to stretch and wriggle; as he grew it was useful to have 3 angles to prop him up. The seat has padded sides so he could nod off in comfort. There was also a head hugger which I only used for a short time as it seemed to get on his nerves and make him agitated - this is probably just my baby's personality rather than a negative comment on the actual product! Now he is a toddler the seat is still roomy with plenty of support to rest his head. The seat is easy to adjust, even with the baby in situ.
There is a big shopping basket which holds loads of stuff and is easy to access even when the seat position is flat, although the handle to pull it down was stiff. There are useful compartments by the handle, and in front of the baby's seat. My son loves to eat snacks on the move so these compartments are great.
The pushchair is sturdy, and steers easily although it is rather large. As my baby has got bigger I have begun to find it heavy especially uphill. My son is not huge - 25lb at 17 months so this could become a big problem with a big baby!
The folding mechanism is easy peasy and can be done with one hand, but it is far too heavy to carry onto public transport and I don't know why else you would want to fold with one hand. Once folded it is still pretty big, and only just fitted in the boot of a Vauxhall Astra. It stands up unsupported when folded which is useful.
The car seat was great and we used it with the base for 9 months, by which time our son wanted to be able to face forward and see out of the window. He still fitted in it at the age of 14 months when necessary, but was unable to sit up as much as he liked. The base was great to fit the seat quickly without fuss. It can also be used without the base, and is fairly easy to fit using the seat belt - after a bit of practice! The car seat came with a hood which was a nuisance so I took it off quite quickly.
The car seat fits easily on top of the pushchair, but I very rarely used it like that because it is recommended newborns lie flat. I also felt he looked squashed and unable to fidget, and seemed to get hot and bothered as a result.
Generally the whole system has worn well, although the tread on the wheels wore down quickly. It still has plenty of use left in it, and the fabric has cleaned well with a sponge. The car seat cover went in the washing machine and came out fine.
I am still pleased I bought the Quattro, but if I had to choose again I think I would make weight and size more of a consideration.
