I received the Quattro Tour™ 7411 in Blueberry at my baby shower. I knew that I wanted one of the Travel systems, and I knew that I wanted the Graco brand - the rest I left up to the person buying it.
This is a great Travel system! Here are the features as listed on the Graco web site (http://www.gracobaby.com/):
Includes stroller, matching infant car seat and stay-in-car base for on the go convenience
One touch brake that uses the bottom of your shoe both when locking and unlocking the stroller - helps prevents scuffing
Large drop down storage basket allows you the comfort of getting to your gear without disrupting your child
Infant car seat has a 5-point harness for a snug fit in five places
Click-in-carrier and stay-in-car base allows for a smooth transition from car to stroller
Infant car seat has front adjusting harness straps to make securing your baby simpler
Infant car seat has an ergonomic, adjustable handle for added carrying comfort
Infant car seat is LATCH equipped for easy installation Car Seat:
I must say that I love this system. I use the car seat the most. This is the best infant car seat I have seen. It has great support for the babies head. It could use a little more padding but isn't too bad. The ergonomic handle is nice when carrying the seat in to the house or store. I love the base that stays in the car. When I had my first son 10 years ago these were unheard of...when I had my second son 7 years ago they were around, but the base I had was horrible to get the car seat in and out of. With the Graco Snugride installing the base is simple - with LATCH the base and seat don’t budge! Getting the seat in and out of the base could not be easier! You simply set the car seat in the base and wait for a click. To remove it you pull up on a handle and it comes right out.
Getting the little one in and out of the car seat is pretty simple. I wish there was something to keep the harness out of the way when you are putting them in so you don’t have to sit them on it. The buckles are easy to latch, but the straps are very easily twisted. Graco makes a nice boot for the car seat, which has been crash tested so you know that it won’t affect the performance of it. This does have to be purchased separately. The canopy is great at keeping the sun out of her eye…..I cannot figure out how to take it off to clean it, but I really didn’t try very hard. I am sure there is a way. The cover is very easy to take of for laundering. The straps are also very easy to clean.
Stroller:
The fact that you can use the car seat with the stroller is probably my favorite feature of all!! I wanted one of these travel systems with my second son, but I wasn't able to get one. It is so nice to take your sleeping baby straight from the car to the stroller with out having to disturb them! It is very easy to attach the car seat to the stroller. It sits very securely on the stroller and I like that it faces so you can see the baby.
The stroller is a bit bulky and heavy. It is slightly awkward to carry – but it is not really intended to carry around. It fits nicely in the trunk of my 2004 VW Jetta (but the trunk is pretty big for a small car). The frame of the stroller is very sturdy. It was easy to assemble (I believe I only had to put the wheels on, it's been a while since I put it together). The wheels are larger than most and that helps with the steering and ride, but it can make it hard to get in to small places.
I like the drink holders and the accessory compartment. The stroller handles very well on both smooth and rough terrain. The basket is very roomy and it is easy to get large items in and out. I really like that you can collapse the basket. The gravity fold option is awesome! You can fold the stroller with one hand. The breaks are great. I really like that locking one side engages the breaks on both sides (on the rear).
The stroller has a good amount of padding and seems very comfortable. The seat recline positions are great. The 3 point harness is ok, but it sits low and doesn't really fit infants well. I like that you can cover the leg holes so your infants feet are not sticking out, but you do have to remove the cover to fold the stroller. I wish that the handle move to the opposite side of the stroller so you could have the baby facing you. Also it would be nice if there was a cover over the “window” so you can peek at your little one when you need to, but not subject them to the sun light all the time. This can be resolved by putting a blanket over the window though, so it is not a big deal.
The snack tray is a great idea although I haven't really used it yet since my little girl is only 6 months old. I am sure the one handed release will be very useful here in the next few months.
This is a great travel system. I highly recommend it!
