I did a bit of research and found this stroller on Amazon from Babies 'R Us. It cost $99.99(USD), plus I had a coupon for $10(USD) off any stroller, so with shipping and everything, it cost less than $120(USD). So the price wasn't too bad
The first thing I liked about it was the ease in putting it together. Once I got past the instructions that were in four other languages, I found that they had written instructions as well as a picture part list and a picture instruction sheet. So even a man could put it together. No tools were required. The only thing I had to have was a knife to cut off the plastic bands that held pieces together. You simply snap the wheels into the legs of the stroller, put the parent and child trays on, and voila! You have a stroller together. Took me less than 10 minutes.
The child tray will hold any sippy cup or bottle or juice box I have seen, and it has a small middle compartment that would fit some nice Cheerios for your child to throw at people when they walk by.
The parent cup tray will not hold a HUGE jug of soda or anything like that, but will certainly accomodate a 20 oz. bottle or soda can. It also has a nice little compartment just above the parent drink tray that you can hide keys in or your drivers license or Cheerios for you to throw at people and blame on your child.
The handle is plenty high enough that even a tall man could push this stroller and not have to hunch over. The fabric cover is fully removable and washable so if you (or your child) spill something in it or grind too many Cheerios in to it, it can easily be removed and washed. The owner's manual details how to take this cover off.
The storage area underneath the stroller is actually large enough to do you some good. You could carry a very large diaper bag in there, plus some books to read while your child talks to the tree in the park. It also can be folded underneath the stroller.
The weight limit of this stroller is 40 pounds, which I think is quite enough. It has a nice headrest for the child, which can be removed as the child grows. The set has several reclinable positions, including fully reclined. They are easy to readjust, as well. Also, you can fold the leg rest up and fully enclose the seat area of the stroller like a bassinet while your child snoozes away.
This model features the 3-pointharness system, which I wasn't thrilled about since my son is only 4 months old and can't sit up alone quite yet. But for children who are older, this is more suited.
I chose the Blackwell color scheme and it is very stylish. This stroller is a bit on the heavy side and I wouldn't recommend this to a tiny lady who has a tall Suburban or something to drive around in. It probably weighs a good thirty pounds by itself, so those with weak arms might want to opt for a smaller stroller.
So then I took it outside to wander around. This stroller features very large wheels, the front of which both swivel. There is a lock on them that can keep them from swiveling, which I found nice. The back wheels have a brake on them, again, very nice. The canopy actually covers the whole stroller, which is a big concern here in our scorching sun. It is of nice thick nylon, which I imagine would not be easy to rip, and the sun does not go through. It also has a small clear window in the canopy so you can keep an eye on your little one while he saws logs in this stroller.
This stroller is very sturdy, though, and I would trust it for some of the heavy-duty traveling and walking we do. All in all, I highly recommend this stroller to just about anyone who is looking!
