This is the new standard of racing, with its amazing standard of graphics creating a resolution of 1080p/i.There are over 70 cars to choose from. The only problem is, is that the game is lacking in racing tracks there are only six but they are so gripping you can not get bored of them. If you want to play this game with a friend in your own home don't be put of by the box only saying it's a one player game there is a 2p battle option. Though this game is not the full game it is not a disappointment.
With this game GranTurismo have made the cars as realistic as possible. Not only have they given extreme exterior detail, they have made the interior of the cars exactly as they are in real life. Turismo TV is a new service, allowing you to download episodes of motoring programmes from around the globe, including the superb Top Gear. You really are getting a lot for your money, especially as Polyphony Digital, the developers, keep releasing updates for the game, in order to improve it.
All in all, GranTurismo5: Prologue is a bargain. Achingly beautiful, astonishingly realistic audio, lifelike and gripping gameplay and plenty of longetivity. It will certainly tide you over until the full game's eventual release, and is far more than the glorified demo many people wrote it off as. If you don't yet own Prologue, get it now. It is a superb showcase of the PS3's performance, but, more importantly, great fun. ...
Before i start please bare in mind this is a just glorified demo of not a full game, so dont expect the world!
I picked up a copy of GranTurismo5 Prologue on release day after being a loyal fan of the series and blown away by the level of detail gone into the game. With 4 different classes to try and pass there is plenty to keep you occupied with. Im a fan of racing games and generaly race in the view inside the car and the detail of normal is minimal but GT5 prollouge take it to the next level. You can clearly see the time and effort put into making the cars as accurate as they could in and out of the car. Even the tracks seem to of been made inch perfect to their real life counter-parts. Only problem is that there is only 6 tracks, but these can be reversed to make you get a further 6 'new' tracks.
