Logitech have however made a first ever full 900 degrees rotation with force feedback.
How is the game online? Online the game is very dissapointing, despite the game being 16 player the reason that it is dissapointing is because there is no damage in the game. Since there is no damage feature other gamers tend to just keep bumping into your car constantly until you lose control of your wheel. The good this is that the creators of Gt5 have promised damage which may just come as early as august as a download.
How does the game look? The game looks absolutely stunning in HD. Clearly the best looking racing game ever created. This is no suprise since all the gran turismo games have always provided stunning visuals. Sometimes you just want to stop your car just so you can admire how it looks. The amount of time they put into making the outside of the car they spent the same amount on the inside. Cockpit view is may favourite camera mode. Because the interiors just look so stunning, and every car has its own interior.
How is the gameplay? The gameplay is fantastic. Each car drives differently which is very enjoyable. This is what the gran turismo series has been famous for. If you enjoy games like need for speed or burnout then this may not be the game for you since the gameplay of this game is more drivin towards simulation rather then arcade racing. During the start of the game i has purchased a mazda and thought this was the best car on the game however then i had purchased a BMW which drove so much more smoother then the Mazda and gave a much more better engine noise. This is the great thing about Gran Turismo you can try out all of you fantasy cars, or if your planning on purchasing one you can try it out on gt5 before purchasing because the driving is that realistic.
Should you buy this game? If your a racing simulation fan then yes this is a deffinate must buy!! also if your a PS3 owner and have not got this game I urge you to go out and get it immediately!!!

With this game Gran Turismo have made the cars as realistic as possible. Not only have they given extreme exterior detail, they have made the interior of the cars exactly as they are in real life. So if you have a Ford Focus ST or Mini Cooper s you will feel right at home. Most people complain that engine sounds in car games are not realistic but in this game they have tested each car and added the correct engine sound to it. Also ... ...also a new feature called Gran Turismo TV where you can find out what is happening in motor racing all around the world or if you don't want to know that you can watch Top Gear and work out the best car for you to buy.
To be honest although its a good price it is only really a demo you may aswell wait for the full game to come out. ...

...picked up a copy of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue on release day after being a loyal fan of the series and blown away by the level of detail gone into the game. With 4 different classes to try and pass there is plenty to keep you occupied with. Im a fan of racing games and generaly race in the view inside the car and the detail of normal is minimal but GT5 prollouge take it to the next level. You can clearly see the time and effort put into making the ... ...A new feature added is Gran Turismo TV. When I first saw this feature i was very excited but for me it just turned out to be an un needed extra which i barely use. Crash damage is not included in the game which is a big disapointment for me. I would like to see my driving skills rewarded with and nice clean car and my moments of madness punished with damage to the car. With luck, hopefully the game will be updated this year and include crash damage ...

I pre-oredered my copy of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue a few weeks back and got it in the post about 5 days before writing this review. So I have had about 5 days of experience with this game.
First off, the game, like some other PlayStation 3 games, requires an install process, at about 10 minutes long it is kinda annoying, but the one thing you'll notice is that the game is pretty snappy between loading screens, so I guess it's an advantage.
Once ... ...all Prologue users.
Overall, Gran Turismo 5 Prologue is a great taste of what's to come, races run smoothly in 1080p, and the UI is slick and easy to use, it lacks in the depth of Gran Turismo 4, but this is reflected in the reduced price. It is available for Ł17.99 from Play.com, and this really is a bargain for the fun you will get out of it. ...

Gran Turismo has always been the Playstation's benchmark series, it's yard stick - the one others have to live up to. Gran Turismo 5: Prologue continues this magnificent tradition, pushing boundries in all areas, and creating a superbly enjoyable, and stunningly beautiful, game. First of all, the graphics. Anyone who sees the game is blown away. The cars look near identical to their real life counterparts, and the tracks are also beautifully, and ... ...seen a game to match Gran Turismo 5 graphically.
The cars don't just look great; they sound incredible. Engine notes are ridiculously realistic, and when added to the gloriously detailed cars, you would expect to be watching a video clip instead of a game. ...of racing car games especially gran turismo when you have to earn the liscences and build up your cars to win the races so was a little dissapointed when playing this game when it was released. It doesnt seem anything like the other four titles as for liscencing or car upgrading which dont seem to exist on this game. I also found that there was a limited number of tracks to play on which after a little while gets boring because they are so easy to ... ...cars (the best bit in this game) they were quite good until i realised i couldnt take them to a gargage to upgrade. Its basically buying a car winning a few races on the same track with it.... buying a new car and doing the same thing... game finished. Although the graphics in gameplay were good :O) I ended up selling my game within the first 2 weeks of it being released and wouldnt go there again. ...
