This is the new standard of racing, with its amazing standard of graphics creating a resolution of 1080p/i.There are over 70 cars to choose from. The only problem is, is that the game is lacking in racing tracks there are only six but they are so gripping you can not get bored of them. If you want to play this game with a friend in your own home don't be put of by the box only saying it's a one player game there is a 2p battle option. Though this game is not the full game it is not a disappointment.
With this game Gran Turismo have made the cars as realistic as possible. Not only have they given extreme exterior detail, they have made the interior of the cars exactly as they are in real life. So if you have a Ford Focus ST or Mini Cooper s you will feel right at home. Most people complain that engine sounds in car games are not realistic but in this game they have tested each car and added the correct engine sound to it. Also each car feels like it has weight which for a game is astonishing and the turning in the car is more realistic as the game actually uses G FORCE against the car.
There are six stunning tracks in the game with the amazing visuals you actually feel like you are there and if you are familiar with London city you can have a race through the centre of London. The other tracks are Eiger Nordwand, Daytona, Fuji Speedway, if you like NASCAR then the High Speed ring is just for you, and if you are a great fan of Formula 1 then the Suzuka circuit is just for you. Though there are only six tracks they shorten them and do them in reverse in some events so it creates a different track so in the end there are at least fifthteen circuits.
If you get bored of beating the computer then why not show the online world how good you are by beating random strangers that think they are really good or just try and beat your friends. There is also a new feature called Gran Turismo TV where you can find out what is happening in motor racing all around the world or if you don't want to know that you can watch Top Gear and work out the best car for you to buy.
To be honest although its a good price it is only really a demo you may aswell wait for the full game to come out.

Advantages: Excellent photo-realistic 1080p 60fps graphics, lots of good racing fun, great physics, decent price Disadvantages: Limited car and track selection, online play still needs work, car damage still not included
Advantages: Stunning looks and sounds, realistic experience, good longetivity Disadvantages: Online isn't perfect, lack of soundtrack variety can wear thin
Advantages: awesome graphics, finally we can drive a Ferrari, good races. Disadvantages: its not very long and feels like half a game, some races are difficult
