I got this game as soon as it came out. I love it. The motion plus aspect really does add to the gameplay in making movements far more accurate. The truly detailed graphics and remarkable audio make this game one of the best tennis experiences on th Wii yet. The game offers hours of fun with a 23 player line up of the worlds top class tennis champions to choose from (such as Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Serena Williams, Pete Sampras, Boris Becker, Maria Sharapova, Andy Murray, Martina Navratilova and more) and the ability to play on some of the World's most famous tennis grounds. As well as this, Grand Slam Tennis is the only tennis game that allows people to play at Wimbledon! From the comfort of your home you get the opportunity to: Try out such shots as top spin, slice and drop shots etc. Try out different challenges to better your players skills and take them up in the rankins. Hear actual audio recorded at past grand slams as you play! Decide on difficulty rating of the game Have an option of just using the Wii controller, or plug in the a Nutchuck and controll the players legs as well as the arm swing on the Wii controller. As a single player you get to play against the worlds top ranking tennis stars! In multiplayer you have the option of going head to head, playing some party games and the option of 7 tennis academy style games. Play singles and doubles online! Practice your skills on various courts at different venues where regualr pop-ups with advice and instructions will appear on screen.
Its only day one but i do not have a bad word to say about the game. With so much on offer, fab graphics, audio taken from actual Grand Slams (this makes the experience even more fun and adding to the fab atmosphere). I found the contorls quite simple to get to grips with, some of my moves need a bit of work but hey practice makes perfect! The controls are a bit more tricky with the Nutchuck but you can always progress to this stage which does make gameply more interactive. The game is only as difficult as you make it. I'm not saying its a simple straight forward game but with a bit of practice and patience you can give Serena or Federer a run for their money!! A great game for single player who wants to take on the tennis world. Offering a good laugh for a family or party wanting a bit of tennis fun. Again the graphics and sound along with the gameplay really make this game the most realistic tennis game available. Truly Superb.
