Is Gta3 really that good?
That’s take a walk in the world of Gta3 and find out.

After the intro video finishes you find your self in a overwhelming city. People will go about daily business and cops will patrol the streets. As you begin the missions you get a feel for the city and it's way of life you watch the birds and planes flying in the skies and you watch the gangs battling it out for ownership of the city. and then suddenly you freeze you stare at your computer blankly wondering what is upsetting it , and then suddenly your computer breathes life again and you realise that you had your fingers on the keys for the whole time your pc was frozen you then you find your self driving over the edge of a cliff in a very jerky manner only to end up drowning the sea

As you can see Gta3 doesn't come without a price Gta3 is very slow on minimum spec pc's and even medium spec. I have a medium spec pc so you would think I would be able to run Gta3 reasonably well. Well you would be surprised, Gta3 is extremely laggy on my Pc, you will often end up literally trying to push the character across the screen. This often ends up with your character getting killed or busted very quickly.

So why don't you lower the graphics
Gta3's maps are so big and complex, that lowering the graphics levels really doesn't improve the situation, yes it speeds up game play but this has other consequences. Once you lower the graphics you suddenly find that the game has just got a lot harder. People will appear out of no where and you will find a building suddenly loom out in front of you when doing 90mph down the road and don't think you can escape from the police now as they will appear right out in front of you.

So what’s your opinion of Gta3, do you hate it
No the complete opposite I love it. I love the way people will run screaming as you fire your guns and the satisfaction you get from shooting down police helicopters. I also love the sounds of Gta3, the radio for example as 3 hours+ worth of high quality music and most of all I love the missions, they keep you entertained for hours on end even if they do prove to be a little frustrating.

In my opinion Gta3 is a must for any PC gamer, even if it does have its downsides.
