...wow!!! i just got this game yesterday and have been playing it non-stop since!! with danger of sounding like an obsessed maniac gta iv is literally the best game i have ever played! i simply cannot put it down. You are an eastern european imigrant called niko bellic and come to Liberty City (aka new york gta style) to share your cousins wealth and fortune...you are immediately dragged into the the world of crime and soon find yourself completely wrapped up in the story...i don't want to spoil it too much for you guys so i'll stop with the story.

OK graphics are stunning and really didn't disappoint my high expectations, superb variety in pedestrians and you will do well to find the same person walking around the streets. Superb attention to detail, the city looks great in the day but wow in the night it is simply fantastic! you will find famous land marks like the brooklyn bridge, the empire state building, statue of liberty etc but once again with the gta twist that just makes them fit in the game.

I have been playing the single player for about 10 hours now and am nowhere near the end...i also read somewhere that it should take about 30-40 hours to fully complete

there is a new aiming system which takes some getting used to...no more simple auto-lock!! and the idea of using 'cover' is important.

if the hugely engrossing, awesomely detailed single player wasn't enough for you there is also probably the best online multiplayer i have ever seen...basically the same as single player but without story line...you are free in the city with up to 16 other players to do what you want!! killing each other is the main aim obviously!! I am a huge fan of call of duty 4 online play...who isn't but i can safely and honestly say that from what i've seen so far this is actually better!

GTA IV IS A MUST BUY GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You could easily just walk round the city and enjoy it even without the multiplayer and the missions...at £39.99 you have to buy it...i know i would pay double that no problem

Pre-order this game now!!! so worth it! I'm off to play some more!!
