"HE WAS ONE OF US"

Advantages: fantastic drawings, and a heart rending storyline
Disadvantages: lots of swearing, some of the worst kind, bit violent

This is no comic book for children. Like most Milligan/McCarthy collaborations, it teeters somewhere between boggling, hilarious and gut wrenchingly sad. I’m going to be using quotes from the novel, and they contain language of ‘an adult nature’ so if tha ...

Sin City - where everything is black & white

Advantages: An interesting read and artwork
Disadvantages: May not be quite your style

Frank Miller strikes again, this is one of the more unusual graphic novels that you will find as it contains no colour and all of the pictures are just pure black and white, not even shades of grey. You may think that this style of artwork is not very go ...
