Radeon 9550 - superb card
Review of Sapphire RADEON 9550 by panther23

Advantages: quality, reliability, durability, price, specs
Disadvantages: none for this price range and production date

This graphic card I bought to my brand new PC about 5-6 years ago and it is still sitting there. Straight away have to point how good and durable this card is. For all this years I haven't had any troubles with it, even haven't had to remove it from AGP socket, except of cooler routine cleaning. I bought it because of high parameters and good specification when using graphic programs. Obviously I mean high parameters like for 2001 year. I ...
...from 3ds max, editing pictures in Photoshop Corel and other similar software and Radeon was doing great job every single time. Have never failed me and probable because of this fact is still in my PC. For general purpose use this 9550 is absolutely efficient enough and there is no need to buy other more expensive cards. If you are still not sure if it is for you, let me explain you something. Other more and more expensive cards are built to comply ... Read review

Powerful, cool and silent
Review of MSI N9600GT Hybrid Freezer by piloteer81

Advantages: Copes with most modern games, silent running
Disadvantages: Superior cooling comes at a price

...prices below that of the MSI 9600GT Hybrid Freezer. So why on earth buy it then? It currently retails for £140 which is more than both of the above cards retail for despite them being faster. However the MSI 9600GT Hybrid Freezer has a small trick up it's sleeve that will certainly appeal to quite a few people out there. This is to do with the cooling. MSI have included one of the their new hybrid coolers with this particular model and it serves ...
...tasks. In this situation the MSI 9600GT Hybrid Freezer excels and it can handle most modern games up to screen resolutions of 1920x1200. However if you need more performance or need a graphics card for a game orientated machine then you'd be well advised to look elsewhere as the MSI is otherwise poor value for money. The full specification is below but the key features are full HDMI and HDCP support which means you can connect it to your HD telly ... Read review

A good Graphics Card that's not PCI-E?
Review of Inno3D GeForce 7600 GS by C-J-C

Advantages: AGP Support - Will run most modern games - reasonable price
Disadvantages: Now quite outdated - If you have AGP, you might be better getting a new computer

I have a fairly elderly computer, a Pentium 4 2.8GHz, which is now getting on a bit, but since I don't use it for games much, I've never particularly worried about having the latest and fastest computer that will play games at their top settings, just that it will play them reasonably, and upgrades usually come when a new game comes out that I want to be able to play, and I either can't with my system as it is full stop, or it looks or runs too awful ...
...when The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion was released. I could play it, but only after downloading a third party hack, and on low settings that made it look worse than the previous version, and ranging from fairly jerky to unplayable jerky depending on where I was in the game. The problem was my Graphics card, the computer's original GeForce 4 TI4600. This was for it's time a top of the range card, but was now seriously showing it's age, and due to something ... Brilliant little Graphics Card
Review of Connect3D Radeon X800 by dav1d_gogs73

Advantages: Cheap, powerfull
Disadvantages: Runs a little hot

When i was building my new desktop PC, I came across this graphics card on Ebay. I didn't pay much for it but now i have it installed and working i realize i have gotten a great bargain. When it arrived in the post, my first initial thought was "Its huge!" and i couldn't wait to get everything up and running to test it out. This graphics card is quite powerful for it only being 256mb in size. I'm not a great gamer and only play the occasional game ...
...can think of is that it runs quite hot. Mine runs at an average of 46 degrees Celsius with additional case cooling but apart from that its flawless in my opinion. Now before i purchased this card i researched it using the internet and the manufacturers website and i found out that it can be overclocked. It runs on 12 pipelines but can be flashed to 16 pipelines quite easily. Now i am not quite sure what pipelines are just yet but if it means that ... Read review

Gamer Enthusiasts - The Review for you!
Review of XFX GeForce 7200GS by GeForce

Advantages: Excellent Quality at low cost
Disadvantages: None

1) I have the GeForce 7200GS installed in my computer for about a year and a half now, It is simply an amazing card for its price, I know what gamers are looking for when they read reviews and I am going to shed some light upon the performance shown by this card as precisely as I can. Now, all the gaming enthusiasts (Like me) who are looking forward to go advanced by playing DirectX 10 games (Crysis, COD4, BIO Shock etc), this is not the card for ...
...I call "some what old games" like Halo, FarCry, Tomb Raider Anniversary, Tomb Raider Legend, C&C Generals, Counter Strike Source, Warcraft III, NFS Underground, Guild Wars, World of Warcraft etc, then get ready to experience hardcore gaming with almost highest details & get the maximum eye candy out of it. Yes, with this card you can go MAX resolution in Tomb Raider Anniversary etc with all the highest details (I would not recommend enabling Antialiasing) ... Read review
