The Out of Towner
Review of Morphy Richards Travel Steam 41520 Iron by
TheChocolateLady
Advantages: Compact, heats quickly
Disadvantages: I hate to iron so just owning it is a disadvantage!
...it with a travel kettle, and at about £30 (about $45) for the two items, it seemed worth it.)

Getting All Hot And Steamy
Review of Libre Vie Iron by
KarenUK
Advantages: light, easy to use, works well, good steam facility
Disadvantages: water gauge could be easier to see through
...; Bold 2 in 1 Easy Iron washing tablets, Asda Easy Iron fabric conditioner and some Comfort Vaporesse to go in the iron.
Now, not only do I have a series of FOUR opinions to write, I actually have no excuse NOT to iron!! Oh well, I guess it’s called motivation. Of course, the next step is how to get the kids and fiancé to put their clothes away while they’re straight – anyone got a product I could buy to help me with that?
So part one of my opinion series concentrates on the most important of all these things to make ironing easy <insert fanfare here> - yes, the iron!
After my old one finally gave up the ghost – well, it still works, but bits keep dropping off (I know how it feels!) – my Mum kindly offered to buy me another one. She bought me the Libre Vie iron by Bush, which cost £19 from the Grattan...

Call for HENRY!
Review of Numatic Henry by
christina44
Advantages: Powerful suction.Virtually unbreakable.strong.
Disadvantages: Heavy to carry for those with mobility problems
...-£122
For example the “buy in bulk discount store: “Costco’s” are selling these for £79
but knowing the nearest store was a 30 minute motorway drive away and I don’t drive, that option would have to go out the window.
Next I tried other budget priced options, and then finally, Argos Comet and Tesco’s-all close to me.
All 3 of these stores sell them, with Tesco’s the most expensive at £117. ( Same as the Grattan and littlewoods catalogues which also chinked to the chime of £117
Mercifully, Curry’s which is literally round the corner from me-(and at the time selling the last one) came up trumps for £93.96.
So, Curry’s it was then, despite the non existant sales knowledge/interest.-
For that you also get 10 disposable (paper) bags thrown in with the price..
Henry has a good washable hospital standard filter, with a huge 9 litres space...
