I had read some reviews of the hotel on other websites and so wasn't expecting it to be a greatplacetostay, but it was. I wasn't expecting to enjoy my stay as I'd just come for a business trip, but the atmosphere and staff made my experience good. They helped me get around the city and often I was phoning them for advice to get from placetoplace... which they didn't mind! Manchester is a great city, and this isn't very centrally located, but it took me about 6/7 minutes to walk to the town centre. The city centre itself is bustling all the time, and so tostay just outside it made it ideal for me. Its next to all the main roads so yeah, can't really go wrong.
Will deff come again if I'm up in Manchester. ...

10) Long Benton, Tyne & Wear - in 2000 Long Benton was ran by teams of recently imported armies of varying Eastern European Countries. Most of the businesses were closing during my visit, some having been there for over 50 years. Everyday was described as a War Zone. In March 2000 if you had called the police to Long Benton it was highly likely that they would arrive.
