I had been using the standard wired iPod remotecontrol with my 3rd gen 40GB iPod, but after it breaking and searching for a new one, I came across the Griffin Airclick.
It looked very good using radio frequency instead of infrared (so you don't need line of sight to control it) and having a clip with velcro strap so I can attach it to the handlebars of my bike.
There is also a USB version of the AirClick, which can control a PC/Mac, but this review is for the iPod version.

Since the particular version of the remote I purchased is discontinued, it is only available used. I brought mine from a well known auction site for just under £10 delivered.

I happened to get this as a gift and it turned out to be quiet interesting
Summary:
This dock is used mainly for ipod and allows you to connet mp3 players to it and listen to high quality music via speakers. It is idle for homes and small gatherings, although I would not run a party off these.
Pros:
This system has terrific sound and can go very load despite its relative small size. As with almost all Bose speakers the quality is amazing, so long as the source you are playing it from is high quality it will allow the speakers to each its potential.
I have a surround sound Bose set up in one of my rooms but now prefer to use this product as it is very simple to operate. Just plug the mp3 player in and press play and your set. Can't get much simpler. It also runs off a wall ...

First of all id like to mention that the remote is rather overpriced for what it is.
Priced at £19 the apple remote, when in use with the apple universal dock, lets you control your ipod, by giving you the option to play/pause, fast forward, rewind, skip forward, and skip backwards. If you hold down the play/pause button on the remote it will switch your ipod off (just like on the ipod wheel itself).
The remote works from a very long distance, and most directions, in fact the fact that the remote works from such a long distance away, and the most awquard angles impresses me quite a bit.
I purchased my remote brand new off ebay for £8 plus £2.50 delievery which is quite a nice saving rather than buying it in the shops for £19. So i was as happy as larry as i wanted the freedom to control my ipod from across the room.
