Advantages: Wear wel,l need little or no ironing , Disadvantages: ?
made of 100% cotton and do feel quite soft. They are very much like a cotton jersey tee shirt fabric, one advantage is they are stretchy and fit the cot well.
They are machine washable, essential for any babysheet. And they do not need ironing hurray, who needs extra ironing when they have a baby.
These sheets can either be bought in store or online at http://www.mothercare.com.These sheets do last well will see two babies use if not more, and when they have finished you could use them as rags/ dusters I just checked a few other sites for prices of cotsheets like these kiddicare are about the same price. Other sites I looked at were similar prices check eBay for better prices
I would recommend a few of these sheets even if you then decide to have some flat flannelette sheets as well. ...
Advantages: none Disadvantages: doesn't do what it says on the tin
When I discovered I was pregnant, the first thing that everybody said (after Congratulations), was "what are you going to do with the cats?". The general consensus of opinion seemed to be that having 3 cats was not compatible with having a baby in the house. Somebody said you will have to get rid of them, and I said, no way, because up until then, our 3 cats were our babies!
I started looking into cat-proofing the cot and nursery. One easy option was to shut the bedroom doors, therefore stopping the cats from going in there!
The next option was to buy cat nets for the Moses basket and the Cot bed.
After a bit of research I settled on this one, the Clippasafe Cot Cat Net. It is suitable for both cots and cot beds.
WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE?
Well, the Cat Net is made of a strong secure open weave white mesh. It fits ...
Advantages: none Disadvantages: cheap poor quality don't wash well
These were the first sheets I bought for our daughters bed when I was pregnant.
I bought them in a two pack pair for £16 in Lilac as they co-ordinated with the colour scheme of our daughters nursery and thought as they were mothercare they would be value for money and when I was pregnant we thought Mothercare was one of the places you could buy the essentials you need.
I am however hugely disappointed with them, they wash poorly ever when tumbled dried they are not fluffy. They are very thin and not worth the £16 per pair paid. I have tried different softeners in my wash but to no avail having bought some sheets from the zorbit range and washed them in the same way I am happy that it is the quality (poor) of the fabric and nothing else.
Don't fit well on the mattress you have to really strech them to fit then round and you can ...

Manufacturer's product description
We honestly believe that this is the safest cot sheet available. American inventor, Lynn Trimble, realised that many standard fitted sheets come un-tucked easily if a baby is restless or as the elastic deteriorates with age, so she set about designing a safe sheet which would stay put however much her babies wriggled about in their cots. So, whilst using a Grobag reduces the risks associated with loose upper bedding, the Baby-Be-Safe Cot Sheet eliminates the danger of the bottom sheet becoming loose and harming a baby. The patented Baby-Be-Safe Cot sheet is made with 14 inch end pockets that secure using high-quality thick elastic and a soft Velcro closure. The sheet is extremely easy to put on a cot or cot bed mattress in a few seconds, but cannot be removed without an adult lifting the mattress on its side and opening the pockets. The Baby-be-Safe cot sheet is made from the highest quality 100% woven cotton. The cot size fits UK and continental mattresses (56-60cm wide by 118-120cm long) and the cot bed size fits standard cot bed mattresses (70cm wide by 140cm long).
