Advantages: Provides a safe warm sleeping environment. Disadvantages: They don't make an adult version for me.
When I had my daughter 12 years ago she was always swaddled in the traditional way with cellular blankets. She was always a good sleeper from day one. When I had my son 20 months ago I was feeling new to parenting a newborn. He has always been an active baby since day one, he was swaddled in blankets for the first few months of his life, after a few months he would start wriggling about in his blankets and I was always wrapping him back up. Once he reached 6 months of age he would pull the blankets up to his face and would roll about in his cot.; I didn't like this as I was worried that he may pull the covers over him in the night and I didn't want him getting cold either.
When I was in Boots one day they had a clearance sale and I picked up a Grobag that was only £2! I only bought it because it was a bargain and I didn't actually ...

Advantages: Great device, funky lights, looks good in a nursery. Disadvantages: None.
The Grobag Egg is a night light that is designed to keep a close monitor on the temperature in your child's bedroom or nursery and it is easy to see because it lights up and this also means that you can peer in to your children's room without having to disturb their sleep or alert them to your presence.
The device is egg shaped with a permanent back lit LCD readout and the actual temperature is display so you can be aware of whether the temperature is just a little too high or too cold and adjust things accordingly to ensure that your baby is kept warm at all times. The ideal temperature is 16-20 degrees and the temperature colour gauges are listed below:
Cold - Blue - Under 16 degrees
Ideal - Yellow - 16-20 degrees
Warm - Orange - 20-24 degrees
Hot - Red - Over 24 degrees
I think that this is a fantastic safety feature ...

Advantages: easy to use, helpful, fantastic ranges Disadvantages: may look a little like a dress on boys!
The grobag is a fantastic invention which stops the constant getting up and down in the night to put the blankets back over your baby when they manage to kick them off in the night.
Grobags are baby sleeping bags which fasten at the shoulders and are worn almost like a dress/dungarees. They come in different thickness- Tog rating- like a quilt. So you are able to decide which tog rating is needed, for example, in the summer when it's warm you will only need a 1tog or if it's colder you may need a 3tog. They come in different patterns and designs so you may chose whether you want a girlie pink one or a boy blue one etc.
The main purpose of these grobags is to stop the baby from getting cold during the night as they may do with a blanket. Babies do not sleep soundly constantly, they do toss and turn and are able to shift themselves ...
