CONTROLS
----------------
The Grundig is controlled entirely using the buttons – a D-pad which is quite small and a little fiddly at times, some smaller buttons such as ‘Esc’ and ‘Menu’, a ‘Rec’ button which is used for recording and taking photos, and the on-off switch which needs to be held down for a few seconds each time or the device will just go into standby, without actually making this obvious.
The little lens that is used for recording film and taking photos can be rotated to face the user, and so enabling the user to take photos of his/herself with others. This function is very useful, I have the same thing on my phone and it makes taking group photos so much easier.

Advantages: . Disadvantages: No back up support. Poor customer relations
...I would not touch anything distributed by Grundig Australia again, our 42" plasma has spent over 4 months in the repair shop this year alone and it is only the beginning of October. They will not return telephone calls, they keep sending broken parts to their authorised repairer and then expect us to wait while they sort out their internal issues. The service shop advises they had no end to their problems with dealing with Grundig. We have an an home service warranty but still have to take and pick up our item. We continually have to ring and chase for any response. We've been promised a quick turnaround but to date have waited 8 weeks without contact.
If you want reliability and customer support, I cannot suggest strongly enough you give Grundig a wide berth...

...I was lucky enough to receive this fine DAB radio for Christmas.
It was so simple to set up and within minutes i was listening to clear interference free music.
With a wide range of radio stations available i was able to listen to jazz one minute and the latest chart music the next.
You can preset up to 10 of your favourite DAB stations which saves a lot of time!
The Grundig Opus is also a neat looking radio which would not look out of place in any room in the house.
Later i listened using headphones and the sound was near cd quality with absolutely no interference.
All in all the Grundig Opus is great value for anyone looking for a digital radio for under £60 for everyday use in the family home....

I bought this from Amazon about 6 months ago, and I now wonder how I managed before. It's just so handy! Everything about this is just right. The size is ideal, it fits perfectly on my keyring. The 1GB storage capacity is fantastic.

I am very happy with the player. It's nice and small and the display is as good as you will find on a player this size. It's really good having the micro sd expansion slot too, I have turned my player into what is effectively a 4GB MP3 Player, for very... more
