Advantages: Fantastic sound, good reception, long wave capability. Disadvantages: Scarce features, no signal strength meter, no remote control.
"£ 180 for a radio??, I hear you ask. Well, this is obviously not the clock radio your mother bought for the kitchen shelf. The Marantz ST-63 is a high quality audio tuner, a separate component which easily fits into the best Hi-Fi chains. It is part of Marantz' upper range of stereo components, only topped by its £ 300 big brother ST-83, and the £ 400 high end Marantz ST-17.
Still the price raises questions, considering that anybody with A-Level Physics can build a tuner from a few transistors and capacitors, and seemingly good separate tuners from Sony and Kenwood are available for around £ 80. But the Marantz ST-63 possesses a quality that only few tuners contain. I plays music. And it plays it god damn well.
Most tuners on the market come with features in abundance, from fancy multicolour displays to Jog-Dials to play around ...

your taste, Grundig have another upgraded model on the market, the GDT-1500. It is slightly larger in size but is curvier and looks modern. However this is reflected in the price.

If your button mad like me then your going to want to know the feel of the buttons! It has been designed with a curve so it sits snugly in your hand.
The button-layout is unchallenging and you've got all the buttons in the right places. See the picture below for a look!

Who Are Grundig?
Grundig are a lovely little company, well they are getting bigger by the day, that make technology products such as digital boxes.
What's Freeview?
Freeview is like sky but you don't have to pay. Instead of the normal five channels you get on any TV you can get over 60 with a simple box.
What's The Connection?
Grundig produces a digital terrestrial receviers.
These receviers are basicly what you find inside a television but because most televisions are out of date they haven't been designed to pick up the extra channels. So Grundig have produced a box which plugs into your television to receive these extra channels.
