THE GUARDIAN.

Advantages: A good value, excellent read.
Disadvantages: None.

--THE GUARDIAN--- When I buy a paper I want one that offers great all round content. I really look forward to Saturday when I purchase the Guardian. It's just really good value. I don't really get much time these days to actually read a newspaper during the week, as I am so busy writing all the time, but I still try to find time to read a few newspapers at the weekends. My newspaper of choice for Saturday is the Guardian broadsheet. Sister newspaper to the Observer, the Guardian has been in business as a daily newspaper following the early success of the Manchester Guardian. The Guardian is quite simply great news with in depth analysis. What I find useful about the Guardian is its sectioning of content. It's a good value read with intelligent comment and Saturdays just wouldn't be the same without it for me. Awarded ...

The Guardian of the left

Advantages: Easily available; good value for money; soon to be in Berliner size
Disadvantages: Quite bulky due to lots of supplements; no "Northerner" section in the newspaper

In 1961 the newspaper began to print in London. By 1964, its editorial headquarters had moved to the capital. Since then, it's had a very London-centric view of domestic news. Its international news often focusses on human rights issues and equality issues, as well as the day-to-day stories which feature in other newspapers. CONTENT In terms of content, The Guardian ...

Review of The Guardian

The Guardian

Advantages: For whom who like quality newspaper
Disadvantages: For whom who likes tabloids only

The Guardian is a quality newspaper, and it remarks the left wings policy. It is a large newspaper, printed on larger page that the tabloids, and there is definitely more news to read. Furthermore I would say the quality of articles is very high, and the range of interests is very wide. You may also find news about world climate, and ecology, or articles of the life of disavantaged people all over the so called third world. Always The Guardian deals about ethnic minorities and you may discover their existence by reading this newspaper. It cost a few penny more that a tabloid, but on The Guardian you may find more articles to read than on a tabloid newspaper. This is a newspaper for intellectuals, or in my opinion for teachers, and for people interested to the aims of the left wing. ...
