    I always think buying perfume as a present for someone is quite a "risk" but this Christmas Mr Lool's decided to take a chance and surprise me with..... perfume! I was very excited to try Gucci II as he promised me "it was so me" and for once he was right! ***Packaging*** Gucci II comes in a baby pink box. This is a very plain outer box with only the Gucci logo on the front which gives a very understated yet girly feel to the perfume.     Disadvantages Disadvantages Fragrance doesn't last long at all. Expensive.

    The recent credit crunch has had a considerable impact on my perfume addiction and so I've found myself turning to half finished bottles of scent as my newfound frugalness prohibits me from spending copious amounts of money on new designer fragrances each month. Gucci's eau de parfum II has been languishing on my bathroom shelf for a few months now. Despite the uninspired name and uninspired bottle, the Gucci brand name means you can expect to pay £30 for a 30ml bottle unless you scour Ebay listings and internet perfume sellers for a discounted offer.     I have just finished my bottle of this and it was the first time that I have tried it. I do like the Gucci brand and although you will pay that bit more for this brand I wouldn't say it is any more expensive than any other designer brand out there. The box and bottle look like the little Ciao picture. The box is a square shape and a nice light pink colour with the lettering on the front in small writing. The bottle looks nice enough. It is quite plain in the fact that there isn't any fancy designs or shape on it. It is just a flat square shape and the glass is clear so you can see the light ... more

    Advantages Advantages lovely light sweet floral scent, nice chunky glass bottle, long lasting, good sillage, versatile

    I recently purchased a bottle of Gucci Gucci II. I had enjoyed the original Gucci by Gucci and I had tried the testers of this in Boots and really liked it. ~ Price and availability ~ This perfume is available to buy from Boots or online at cheapsmells.com. A 75ml bottle is available on cheapsmells.com for £61.95 (RRP £72.00). I'm not sure if this is due to be discontinued as it is not available on Boots, House of Fraser or Debenhams websites at the minute. ~ Bottle ~ The bottle pictured above is the 30ml bottle.
