The Italian couturier chose a "lucky number" for the name of this eau de toilette that more
proposes a new olfactive language. 2 also means double, therefore it complements Rush, which came out a year and half ago. The juice, composed by Michel Almairac of the Robertet Company, is not build in a pyramid, but horizontally in order to obtain a homogenous effect of all the constituents. Fresh, flowery and woody, the fragrance opens on an accord of rose, freesia, musk, palm tree, oakmosis and narcissus.

Gucci Rush 2 was initially launched in 2001 by the powerhouse that is Gucci for the woody style perfume range that Gucci had already established. Gucci Rush 2, has a blend of notes of narcissus, palmwood, freesia, lily of the valley. Contains the scents of rose gardenia, blackcurrant, musk and oak moss.
How Long Does It Last ?
It has a very pleasant but sweet smell, that is very prominent when first applied. After 20minutes or so the smell begins to emulate from your skin with a sugary sweetness, which is unlike its title of a woody perfume. Never the less it is a perfume that stays on your skin all day. With this perfume I am happy to say that one application a day is all it needs.
The Bottle
A bright pink rectangular bottle, which is definitely targeted at a female consumer obviously by being a feminine product. The over slip of the perfume holds the number of the perfume over the bottle which just holds Gucci Rush . It is a very nice looking bottle and reminds me slightly of a CD case as the slip slides on and off the perfume so the bottle isn't accidentally sprayed.
Price
This perfume comes in 3 different amounts; 30ml, 50ml and 75 ml. Each increasing in price as you get more perfume.
30ml varies in price from £16.99 - 26.96 50ml varies around the price of £35 75ml is around £45-50
Despite this is does have a lost lasting ability so is well worth the money you pay for the perfume. Though by scouting round the internet the prices are a little varied and you could get a bargain for a gorgeous smelling perfume.

My opinion
This was a Christmas present but I had already liked the first Gucci Rush, so I thought I would probably like this! This perfume I have found is perfect for any situation, as a mild perfume for day to day wear if you put small amount on, but for a stronger scent try a little more. It is a stunning scent, and not being a big perfume fan myself I was surprised how much I liked this. The fact that I can get it in Boots and many other high street retailers along with the internet it is a accessible perfume and a great smelling one, with good value for money.
Advantages: Fantastic value for money! Disadvantages: The bottle could be prettier.
Gucci Rush 2 was one of my first perfumes. It is fantastic value for money but i do think you get what you pay for, definatly with perfume and make up. The smell is really nice, refreshing and tangy. More of a daytime perfume but can be worn at night also. In my experience it doesnt have much staying power,
you find yourself applying it alot and therefore using alot of it, so it is a good job it is so good value for money!
I think the bottle could ... ...a beautiful perfume has a stunning bottle to match! Stay away from gucci rush (the original) I think it is in the red bottle, if you like floral, pretty scents its a bit musky and strong, not half as good as gucci rush 2!

Gucci Rush 2 is the best perfume I have ever purchased. I am hooked and have had it in my bathroom cabinet now for quite a few years and will definitely keep using it. The fragrance is a very light bloomy smell without being heavily sweet which I personally cannot stand. Gucci Rush 2 is described as a blend of narcissus, lily of the valley, palmwood, freesia, rose gardenia, blackcurrant, musk and oakmoss. Especially the freesia scent comes through ... ...would also like to recommend Gucci Rush 2 as the scent although being a spray, will actually last all day on your skin and does not wear off like a lot of other perfumes do. The prices vary depending on which size spray you buy. As far as I am aware the sizes are 30 ml, 50 ml and 75 ml. Prices start at £18.49 for the 30 ml and can be as much as £46 for the 75 ml spray. I absolutely LOVE Gucci Rush 2 perfume. It is so light and sweet, especially compared with Gucci Rush perfume. The perfume is not too strong so you don't feel overpowering like with Gucci Rush. I find that it is a perfect summer perfume because it is so light and sweet and it has such a unique, memorable smell. The bottle is quite sweet too, it is a bottle inside of a box which is unigue to Gucci. Although i do not wear Gucci Rush everyday it is ... ...i run out of it i always buy a new one straight away because i love it so much. The smell of the perfume doesn;t change hugely once it is on your skin which is definitely an advantage because it is something that a lot of other perfumes do which can be really annoying. ...
