Guinot Energising Lift Mask (Mask Energie Lift)

Advantages: Makes your skin soft, smooth and glow! Flawless!
Disadvantages: Pricey, but definatly worht it.

...This is a fantastic exfoliater - which requires no scrubbing!! I got my first taste of this gel in a Guinot pack from my local beauty salon. The Packaging: It was a little orange bottle with 'Gommage Biologique' (Biological Peeling Radiance Gel) written on it, which didn't mean much to me at the time really! It has now been rebranded with the rest of the Guinot range in a white and red bottle which is equally as nice. To dispense it is a screw top, and you just squeeze it out of the small hole straight onto your fingers. The Product: Gommage Biologique is thick, with a very similar texture to a peel off face mask. It is clear and spreads evenly easily over your face. It has a fresh smell and is very pleasant to the touch. ..., and excellent improvements have been achieved with continual use. This naturally depends on the age and skin type of each individual. Does it work? Well, this is the all important section of any review, personal experience. As previously mentioned, I am an advocate of regular facial treatments, including a facial mask. I have been in the habit of incorporating a mask into my beauty routine, on a twice weekly basis, for some time now....favourites include Gatineau Defi Lift, Lancome Hydra Zen, Clinique Anti-gravity, and Dior Firming Energy Mask. I was desperate to try the PueLogicol mask out to see if it could top my faves and justify its fairly hefty price tag. Did it do the trick? In a word.......YES! ...I always find that the cold weather play havoc with my complexion and with winter approaching fast I am on a search for products to keep my skin looking clear and glowing. Having been a fan of Lush's skincare products for a while now, I decided to try their Mask of Magnaminty (don't you just love the names of Lush products?). It is described as a "big green giant of a face and back pack" and claims to "deeply cleanse, tone and exfoliate" while "refreshing and brightening everything it touches". It comes in a large black pot containing 315g and the packaging design is the only thing I can find to complain about with this stuff! It is very difficult to actually manage to get the lid to remain air-tight and, consequently, oil leaks out from underneath the lid.
