I have always been a religious user of all products Elemis, don't get me wrong I still think they are great, but I was truly amazed by this cream. We use Guinot at the salon I work in and although I had used the product on clients, I had not on myself and you can never see or feel the full effects unless it is on yourself. When I was at work on Saturday, my skin was feeling awful, it was oily, dehydrated, felt dirty and generally just overloaded and uck!! So I thought I'd give myself a little mini facial. I removed all my make up with Guinot Cleanser and then used the matching toner (I will review these seperately) then I applied this desensitising protective cream. Guinot Matizone Face Cream

Advantages: leaves you non greasy and moisturised
Disadvantages: maybe the price, but always worth it once used

I adore this product, I can't see myself changing moisturiser for a long long while. I'm so happy my beauty therapist recommended it. Even though people may gasp at the price it's worth every penny. It retails at £51.00, but i get mine from a website called strawberry net, who have a massive saving and sell it for £38. The Matizone cream Regulates sebaceous secretions while continuously hydrating the skin. Have you ever got to about 3/4pm in the afternoon and you have this horrible shine on your face which makes you look greasy or hot and sweaty (I did every day) this cream stopped me from getting that. It gives me this clean fresh matt look which i love, i've found it easy to apply amke up on top. It doesn't get clogged, Smells truly amazing (my partner noticed the change in my skin, very rare does he notice). Easily absorbed too ...
