Boss Chromatic Tu-2 Tuner
Review of Boss TU2 Chromatic Tuner and Power Supply Pedal by
BenMeredith123
Advantages: Cheap, Big Display, Robust
Disadvantages: Goes Through Battery's Slightly Fast But Nothing Major!!!!
Hi Dudes!!!
The best tuner ever, forget your rack gear and pro audio nonsense, this is definatly the best tuning pedal there is.
You can run this pedal through your effects loops or run it straight thrpugh into your amp either way works fine. The stomp action allows you to by-pass the tuner when not using and retain your sound with no differennce but when you press it down to tune it cuts of sound coming from your ampliphier so people in the pub ...

Ga-30 = Easy and great
Review of Korg GA-30 Guitar/Bass tuner by
101Tomsk101
Advantages: Cheap, easy to use, quick and efficient
Disadvantages: None
The Korg GA-30 is a must for anyone who tunes guitars. I have recently started to learn to play guitar, initially finding the tuning process frustraiting and long. (I play piano and have that tuned every 6 months, tuning a guitar every time i play = long) I just want to get down to playing! The korg is fantastic, you can tune using the inbuilt mic, great if its quiet, but better still to plug in the direct jact port. Then just watch the scale and/or ... ...to get the note perfect. It also has a function to drop the note your tuning by a semi-tone to 5 semi-tones (ie two and half tones (notes) so tuning a drop D is easy as pie and you don't have reconfigure the device, just a touch of a button and you can drop tune any note! You can also tune bass guitars just as easily. Overall great value for money and so easiy to use i don't know why anyone would tune manually or with anything else. ...

To C#-F#-C#-F#-Bb-B, And Back (A QWIK Review!)
Review of Qwik Tune Chromatic Guitar Tuner by
scream4bruce
Advantages: For alternate tunings, tune by plugging in directly or by mic
Disadvantages: Often shows wrong notes
There's an Automatic Guitar tuner version of this (which is silver-coloured, not gold), but should you need a dBGDGD, drop-D or need to come down a semitone down from standard - something other than eBGDAE, then give this a look. As well as the display there are LED's to show whether you are flat/sharp (within 50 cents). Electric instruments can be plugged in directly at the top (thus you can tune quietly) whilst there is a built-in mic to pick up ... ...to pick up on the lower pitches, and when tuning, the note can often alternate between right and wrong - the wrong tends to be fifths for reasons which might trouble those new to playing an instrument. The on/off button is not that responsive, and sometimes the symbol indicating low on battery power shows when there is still some usage left from the 2 AAA batteries it requires. The pitch pipe (ascending in semitones from middle C) can help those ...

Does what you need it to
Review of Seiko SAT100 Guitar and Bass Tuner by
Rich444
Advantages: Does the job, lots of features, looks nice, cheap
Disadvantages: Microphone mode is useless
I bought this tuner as I was a beginner to bass guitar, and knew that there was no way Id be able to tune the guitar by ear. It cost me about £12 from an online store, but you may be able to find it cheaper. I chose this tuner over others becasue it was a name I had heard of and trusted.
Build:
The tuner looks quite fancy and is slim enough to fit in your pocket. Sure, there are some fancier metal-cased tuners out there, but they are more expensive. ... ...always a plus!). Features:
This tuner is designed for Electric, Electric Bass and Acoustic Guitars. There are four main modes for using the tuner: Auto, Manual, Sound. "Auto" mode will detect the string for you, in "Manual" mode you first choose a string and then begin tuning (Id imagine this is more accurate then Auto mode, finally "sound" mode, whereby the tuner plays the sound of the string for you to tune by ear. You can set specific frequencies ...

Qwik Tune, Excellent Value, Great Quality
Review of Qwik Tune QT1 Guitar and Bass Tuner by
xolof
Advantages: Featurefull, Great Value
Disadvantages: Bad battery life
I have used this tuner for guitar and bass for many years, as a bass player I find this to get the job done quickly and easily, It is not so efficient for guitar but is still a very good tuner for the price.
A positive point about this tuner is that it has 1/4" input and output sockets allowing it to be used between the guitar and amp which, for a tuner of this price range, is quite a useful feature. My only issue with this tuner is that it uses ... ...the tuner is accidentally left on. This is an easy mistake to make as the three main buttons on the tuner are raised and can be accidentally pressed, there is no power indicator to show the tuner is switched on
To conclude, this tuner is very good value for money and has excellent features including a microphone for tuning acoustic guitars. ...
