Line 6 Spider III 15
Review of Line 6 Spider III 15 by
chowname
Advantages: Good bang for buck
Disadvantages: Effects are pretty poor and overall sound isn't great.
Not the greatest amp, althought it does the job.
I was sold this when I was shown it by a sales rep in my local music store. It seemed awesome at the time I was just wowed over by the guys skill more than anything.
Anyway got it home and was pretty happy with it. For a 15W amp its LOUD, really loud for its price and size and for that I give it credit.
When I started to get a bit more into my guitar and I wanted to try get specific sounds out the ... ...and unauthentic and the flange, phaser and tremolo effects are pretty poor. Sure it's nice for an amp this price and size to have all these effects, but they are not great.
The amp looks pretty good and is built durably I would say.
All in all its a pretty good and loud amp for its price, but don't expect anything amazing from it. ...

The Line 6 "Tamed Beast" Spider 2
Review of Line 6 Spider 210 by
whitby_qpr
Advantages: Extremely high volume, excellent sound quality, variety of effects on offer, An easy lifter
Disadvantages: None to report.
The Line 6 Spider 2 offers the most amazing volume from an amp i've ever experienced (minus metallica gigs of course). If your thinking of buying a new amp, forget the Marshalls, Line 6 is where the quality lies. It's not just the volume, the effects on this amp can offer ridiculas sounds and tones, required for proper shredding. The list of names associated with this amp is endless, and I can see why, Jim Root relies on this amp to deliver a pure ... ...Dont get me wrong, It's not just a metal amp though, this amp delievrs just as much quality on it's "Clean" setting as it does on the award deserving "insane" mode. In short, all serious guitarists of all styles should buy this tame beast of an amp in order to be able to shred beautifully, in all aspects of thier playing. ...

The Anti-Christ of Amplifiers.
Review of Line 6 Spider 112 by
Teh0Wolf0man
Advantages: Everything that you want from it, you'll get it. Regardless of what your equipment.
Disadvantages: There isn't a pedal to go with it. But you likely won't need one.
First amp I ever had that made me feel like I was just a kid again in a candy store for guitars. I played this thing was with guitars I could never hope to afford. On the Roy Orbison I felt like I was floating on air, pulling out incredible decibels on the second volume setting. On the Black Beauty, I was in pure guitar heaven. But when I brought it home and played it on my cheapest guitar, I was amazed.
This thing can take any guitar and turn it ... ...settings are VERY straightforward and easy to use. From the moment you turn it on you have a perfect idea of where you're going with your sound. Just a turn of the knob and you can do whatever type of style that you want. from Clean to Insane which sounds like a metal concert right in your own living room.
The reverb is completely alterable to give you just the right amount of echo on a VERY high scale, so you can go from just a bathroom to a Moscow ...

Sounds of Excellence
Review of Line 6 Flextone Plus by
cskent99
Advantages: Awesome sound clarity, Awesome inbuilt effects
Disadvantages: Heavy
As an avid electric guitar player, a good quality amp is imperative to my sound. The Line6 Flextone Plus provides more than just bang for the buck.
At 100w of power, you won't be left lacking whilst using this amp. Featuring Dual Celestion 12" speakers, chances are you won't crank this amp up to full very often. Speaking from experience, when you do, the sounds will blow you away. Often with amps, playing at full volume induces unwanted noise - ... ...36 different Amp and Cab models, 6 types of delay, 6 effects, and a fully programable interface - this is the new age amp revolution. No longer get stuck in a rut with tones. Switch with ease with the included FB2 - One minute be playing modern high gain over driven heavy metal, with the tap of a button switch to a clean jazzy tone, little bit of reverb, little bit of echo and play some classic Clapton.
2 of my favourite features are the Gate and ...

Line 6 Spider II Review
Review of Line 6 Spider II 112 by
Razzmond
Advantages: Clear Sound, Precise Tuning, Multi Purpose for any kinds of music
Disadvantages: You may find yourself hard to break away from Line 6 models
I tried this amp during my days at school when my music teacher bought 3 of these.
I have GOT to praise this little baby. It sounds absolutely fantastic and can be used for a wide range of music styles. It can be fine tuned to high feedback with distortion for great metal riffs all the way down to Bon Jovi style (given the right pedal of course) all the way to soft acoustic.
Its clear, precise and an absolute pleasure to use. This may be a bold ...
