Could everything we conceive to be real simply be created by our brains, and we are actually somewhere completely different to where we believe we are?...

I'll be totally honest with you guys, I really didn't see what the big fuss was about this game; you sat there with a smaller than life plastic guitar, hitting a button or two looking like a complete spoon.
I had always been the one sitting there watching others play while I refused, mainly because I know my co-ordination is crap and I have really small hands. (lol)
Anyway it wasn't until one day my partner was at work, there was nobody in the house and the stupid plastic guitar was sitting in front of the tv inviting me to push all the right buttons. I thought 'what the hey' there was nobody there to laugh at me when I did bad and if I did suck at it nobody would know I ever even considered picking up the guitar.
Now, when I tried it I was finding it really awkward for some reason although I didn't start off too badly. I'm left handed so I put it down to that, until I was flicking through the options and found the 'lefty flip' option! I tried again and found this much easier. Using this option it moved the buttons to the opposite side of the screen, which would be confusing if you were used to the other way!
Anyway I got into the quickplay songs and found I was doing quite well and decided to start a 'career', which earns you money the better you play a song.
Moving down the list I thought my play was deteriorating and put it down to a sore hand! But then I realised the songs get marginally harder the further you progress through the game. I decided to leave it for a while, and come back to it.
When my wrist had recovered I carried on from where I left off. I found I was getting better and better and decided this was my new favourite game!!
The minutes passed and before I knew it I heard my partners keys in the door. I didn't know whether to carry on playing or try and quickly hide the fact that I had been. I was too late to hide and didn't mind anyway because I was quite good!
He was astounded at how well I had been doing for a first timer AND a lefty!!
I had only been playing the game for a week or so before I completed my career on easy and so tried to move onto medium. The problem with this was that I was so used to using only the first three buttons on easy that I couldn't do four buttons on medium! I haven't attempted it in a while but from writing this review I feel really in the mood!
The graphics seen behind the 'fret board' are poor but unless you are only a spectator and your eyes are prone to wandering, you wouldn't notice the quality.
Overall, a really addictive game and great if you're into rock music!
