I purchased the disc & guitar version for my Fiancé, Tom, for around £45.00 in a pre-owned condition but by shopping around it's possible to find a new guitar & disc for this price now.

The game has many songs on it (which I will list later) and comes with stickers for decorating your guitar or whatever you like.

The aim of the game is to become a guitar hero and play along in one of the four difficulty modes (Easy, Medium, Hard & Expert!).

You have five notes on the guitar, yellow, green, blue, red & orange which you use to play in time with the music. You have to press the notes and strum the strum bar to hit the right note. The guitar we brought also comes with a whammy bar which you can use for the long notes.

The songs on this disc are fantastic for playing guitar to and I often find myself pretending that I really am a guitar hero!

I would definitely recommend easy to start off as this gives you a chance to learn some of the songs you may never have heard of before and it will allow you to become acquainted with the guitar & how to play this game.

Easy will give you a start to the game and allows you to learn how it works and get a grip on the controls.

Medium brings you up to speed with playing three of the five notes and you'll really need to be co-ordinated to start playing at this level.

Hard is really hard, it brings in the 4th note and everything gets a lost faster from this level. There is quite a few times when I need to double strum the hit the notes fast enough and this level is where I can play most of the songs now.

Expert is not for the faint hearted, the screen rolls down incredibly fast and sometimes I struggle just to see the notes let alone keep up but I have got better over time and can now play a fair few songs on this level (albeit not very well!).

You can use XBox Live to download additional features, costumes, songs etc for this game and it's relatively easy to use but, as expected, it does cost money to buy XBox Live Gamer Points.

You can play this game alone, with friends or you can play online as part of a band or against people.

You can use the XBox Live headset you receive with the Xbox to sing but you must position and hold the microphone close to your mouth otherwise I find that it doesn't pick you up.

You can play career mode or quickplay for the days when you just fancy a quick song or two (never easy to put the guitar away again afterwards as I just enjoy this game so much!).

I would recommend this as a must have game for any real music fans or Xbox 360 fans.

It's worth adding that all the guitar hero instruments are playing with other Guitar Hero games and also with the game Rock Band 2.

I am rating this game 5/5 as it's fun for most people and there should be a difficulty level for everyone to try this out. It's a fantastic game and although I've owned mine several months now I still thoroughly enjoy it.
