Turn your wii in to a gig machine! Review with images 5 of 6 Ciao Users found the following review helpful

Advantages Great and fun party game

Disadvantages None

Yes as hard as might seem to believe, the Wii version of a multi-format release it actually BETTER than the XBOX360 and PS3 versions. I won't talk much about the actual game here, there are plenty of reviews already talking about that, there are a few new features that really add to the package. But the best new feature is actually a Wii exclusive, and it's fantastic. To play, you need 2 guitars and 2 Nintendo DS consoles. Here, you play a competitive team game with each team comprised of a guitarist and a "roadie", controlled using the DS. The Roadie can run over the other side of the stage to the competing guitar player and really start to mess things up for them. They can break the amps, mess with the sound board or, the most feared option, reverse the players strings. It's then up to that players own roadie to try and fix all these problems, that is, if they're not already messing up the competition. It might sound com plex but it isn't. It brings about hysteria and shouting at each other.
"Quick! Fix my strings , fix my strings!"
"OK, OK! In a sec, I'm just sabotaging their amps!"
"On no! Now I'm on fire too! Hurry up!"
All of which is utterly hilarious.

This Wii release may not have the slick graphics of the higher spec versions, but it does have "Roadie Battle" mode, and thanks to some ingenuity at Vicarious Visions (the developer), it has ALL the online functionality of it's next gen cousins. (it's worth mentioning the online modes as they do away with any additional friend codes, and you can join any game online with the press of a button)

If only all Wii conversions were as complete as this.

Nice review. Some of the wording is a bit confusing but I like it :).
