How my obscession with Guitar Hero started!

Right so last year my Father bought a Nintendo Wii, now for me this wasnt such a big deal, i dont particularly like the games for it so I was just like, yeah cool... The a couple of months ago, he bought a Guitar Hero game for it, which immediately sparked my interest as a number of my friends told me how good it was. So, we start playing a multiplayer game, and from that moment on, I just couldnt put it down!

Game Play

For those of you who are familiar with guitar hero, its is exactly the same as any other game. Firstly you choose a difficulty to play on, either easy, medium, hard or expert. Then you have to become familiar with the guitar controller (the guitar controller is not necessary, but its all part of the fun of the game!). There are five different coloured buttons on the guitar, green, red, yellow, blue and orange, there is also the button which represents the strings which allows you to strum. When you start playing one of the five different colours will appear, you have to press the corresponding colour on the controller and strum when it reaches a certain point on the screen. I know, it sounds really simple, and it is, but when you get good and start going on the harder difficulties, it becomes very addictive!

Graphics

Not the best aspect of the game, but to be fair they arent necessary. When you think, all you are doing is clicking when a colour gets to the right point of the screen, only simple graphics are needed to pull that off, what ever else is just extra. So for me although the graphics arent the best, it dosent affect the game play at all, so its all good :)

Sound

Well if you like Aerosmith, you will love the sound track! There are mostly Aerosmith songs, along with a few others, including songs by Run DMC, and various other artists. For me it is just brilliant, being a big fan of the Rock genre from this era!

Value for Money

You can buy just the disk on Amazon.co.uk for just £9.99 which is a brilliant price for such a good game (I dont usually go for the 'cheaper' games), and with the guitar it is £60, which puts the guitar at £50, I think that may be a little expensive, but im sure you can buy a guitar seperately, which may work out cheaper!

Conclusion

All in all, I would highly recommend this game. I love it and havent stopped playing it since I got it (until now when I started writing this =P). This is a must buy 5* product which the whole family will enjoy!!!!
