I was so there with the memory of seeing this game in the games shop and I was so surprised to see it there. When my father asked me what I wanted for my birthday I thus said guitar hero game and we discussed why this game would be more enjoyable than some of the other games [games for heroes]. My father said that it was the worst idea for a game which he had actually ever heard. However, my opinion of this game was the complete opposite of this. It is a video game which is cheeky with Guitar. How couldn't that be exciting? Thus, I received the game as a present. I was slightly ecstatic to see it. I received the head of the box and opened the very large packing to see it came with a perfectly well made guitar controller panel (a black Gibson SG, model) I was astonished. I coldly realised that the guitar was much smaller than a real guitar and because of the size it was handled with a little difficulty at first but after a practicing it becomes very easy.
However all guitarists know that you must always be very careful indeed to with guitars and you must ensure to not let the guitar fall from your hands, not to step on it, not to wound in any way because this guitar and all guitars are easily breakable. There were also some stickers included with the package, as your guitar is only a cheap plastic one you can stick these on the guitar and it appears more pleasantly than you could have wished in the complete manner of a skull, a flame, lightning's, stars and more. I particularly like the skull and stars. And obviously, the guitar controller is a hundred times nicer than your usual PS2 dual shock would be if you had to play the game with that. The package has everything you needs - The game, booklet, stickers and the guitar controller panel. You can also buy the guitar and the game separately.
If you read this review, you are probably astonished at how much I'm in agreement with this game. I won't know this but I'm a windy autistic person so I shouldn't be very good with knowing how to write a review. Many people have said my word constructions are poorly written but to all those people I will say that I am especially proud of this review. I really try to write this review to make all you readers go into the shop and if you see the game in the shop and you're a guitar fan you will buy it at once (if you have enough money).
The Guitar Controller ------------------------------ I think the GH controller is actually about ¾ the dimension/shape of a true guitar. There are 5 contrary coloured buttons at the top of the neck formed of the colours green, red, and yellow, blue, orange which you must press in direction with the colours that fly on the bottom of the screen. You must match the colour at exactly the right time to collect the useful star energy. To Strum the GH guitar you must stab the small strum bar up and down or simply strum down (in place of strumming strings like a real electric guitar) and to describe the whammy stick I will have to say I whammy the guitar in a very personal way. You must remember that I'm not too familiar with things such as whammy, since I have never played an electric guitar in my life. You can incline the guitar vertically, to activate all the star energy you collected, because
of an inserted movement of probability catches like a musical rise in perfect guitar songs. The controller guitar works perfectly; the keys are easy but after a long play they become too uncomfortable…, if you confuse yourself by pressing the wrong key at the wrong time as it appears on the screen, you will be very sorry about it as you will fail the song or you won't collect much star energy. It becomes obliging and never causes much disturbance to the complete music of Rock and Roll that is the only music you will be playing on guitar hero. That is everything I have to say about the guitar hero guitar. There is of course also a start key and a select key to reselect a song, pause the game, etc.
Game play --------------- If you don't have a PS2 then don't worry because guitar hero might be released later on Wii, Xbox 360, PSP, and PS3. Now I am hearing you all ask only one question - Is guitar hero the best quality guitar game you can buy for PS2? I will answer the question with a definite yes but I will certainly say that there are two other guitar games I have heard called Gitaroo-man and Guitar Freaks.
I will rise into a complete insolent and tell you in secret that there are games not only for guitarists, but for all kinds of music fans. There are games for: 1. Drummers: Taiko Drum Master, Drum Mania. 2. Singers: Sing Star, Karaoke Revolution, X-Factor. 3. Dancers: B-Boy, Dance Revolution, In the Groove, Dancing Stage Mega mix. 4. DJs: Amplitude, MTV Music Generator, DJ Decks & FX. 5. Music fans: Buzz Music Quiz.
I hear you asking one last question - Does the game maintain itself all the time with good fun? Yes, Guitar Hero is surely maintaining with the good fun material. As I mentioned before all you have to do is press the colours on the guitar as they appear by chance on the screen and you play them in perfect time to collect star energy. If you played any games like dancing games or rhythm games, you will find a small similarity to that play of matching the controller buttons in perfect time to the screen. It is thus like a dog of the roof that old foolish foramens instrument scores your performance certainly one fan of the judges, at which point you must make yourself play your guitar very well. If it is in green, you balance it outside my friend! You're a Hero! If it is in the yellow it means you are doing ok. If it is in red, you're playing it terrible and you must draw it to the top quickly, or you will be removed from the stage and you'll definitely fail the song. When it receives to be played in the green you hear the crowds cheering for you are you are too proud of yourself that you slightly feel ecstatic as you play the song.
If you're a private individual like me you won't know many feelings but you will be feeling ecstatic playing guitar hero and you will strike the whammy stick successively. The crowds will go wild if you do the whammy, and your old foolish foramens instrument thing increases the green in the top. You are doing all this with your reflective right hand on the strum bar and your king of hands, your left hand playing on the frets. You acquire double points if you become a hero also thus for example you become worthy of a multiplier 4x 8x. The reader is asking me do I ever become tired of playing this gameplay? I never become tired of this gameplay - Indeed I promises you, you starlit gilthead.
I think you read this review in a pleasant manner of gilthead that you are, what I mean is that you are an incredibly botchy reader. At the end of the song the old foolish foramens instrument, will give you a score based on your performance. You receive a classification of 1-5 stars and a classification of your success.
Music -------- Acing track list. It's like the sort of music you would buy from a brilliant ice at any of the brilliant ice music shops. I began to press the top green button on the guitar to select some of my songs of favourite which I had never heard before and which existed to be a favourite song immediately after. I especially liked the songs Killer Queen, Spanish Castle Magic, Crossroads, Texas Flood, Frankenstein, Cowboys From Hell, Godzilla, Ziggy Stardust.
Every song included on Guitar Hero:
1. Opening Licks "I Love Rock & Roll" - Joan Jett & The Blackhearts "I Wanna Be Sedated" - The Ramones "Thunder Kiss '65" - White Zombie "Smoke on the Water" - Deep Purple "Infected" - Bad Religion
2. Axe-Grinders "Iron Man" - Black Sabbath "More Than a Feeling" - Boston "You've Got Another Thing Comin'" - Judas Priest "Take Me Out" - Franz Ferdinand "Sharp Dressed Man" - ZZ Top
3. Thrash And Burn "Killer Queen" - Queen "Hey You" - The Exies "Stellar" - Incubus "Heart Full of Black" - Burning Brides "Symphony of Destruction" - Megadeth
4. Return of the Shred "Ziggy Stardust" - David Bowie "Fat Lip" - Sum 41 "Cochise" - Audioslave "Take It Off" - The Donnas "Unsung" - Helmet
5. Fret-Burners "Spanish Castle Magic" - Jimi Hendrix "Higher Ground" - Red Hot Chili Peppers "No One Knows" - Queens of the Stone Age "Ace Of Spades" - Motörhead "Crossroads" - Cream
6. Face-Melters "Godzilla" - Blue Öyster Cult "Texas Flood" - Stevie Ray Vaughan "Frankenstein" - The Edgar Winter Group "Cowboys from Hell" - Pantera "Bark at the Moon" - Ozzy Osbourne
Bonus Tracks "Fire It Up" - Black Label Society "Cheat on the Church" - Graveyard BBQ "Caveman Rejoice" - The Bags "Eureka, I've Found Love" - The Upper Crust "All

of This" - Shaimus "Behind The Mask" - Anarchy Club "The Breaking Wheel" - Artillery "Callout" - The Acro-brats "Decontrol" - Drist "Even Rats" - The Slip "Farewell Myth" - Made in Mexico "Fly on the Wall" - Din "Get Ready 2 Rokk" - Freezepop "Guitar Hero" - Monkey Steals The Peach "Hey" - Honest Bob and the Factory-to-Dealer Incentives "Sail Your Ship By" - Count Zero "Story of My Love" - The Model Sons
The premium chief of the rails songs on guitar hero are chosen very well, with fires of fantastic records that you have heard and many stickler Cronkite songs of greatness that you may not have heard before the songs get better as you're playing gets better loading into the Face-Melters as the songs which are of course the high leaders. This one is a little bit too hard - Bark at the Moon. I will definitely call you a guitar hero if you can complete that song. The bonus songs I must say are very effective, in the place of finishing the game you're a guitar hero so you will surely need more songs to play which are mixed there are no songs I have heard before and I particularly enjoyed Fire It Up, Caveman Rejoice and The Breaking Wheel. You probably heard of other songs on Guitar Hero II that is surely another fantastic game I will buy it very soon I do hope Guitar Hero II has some Guns and Roses songs as I believe that is top of rails guitar playing, but I can concentrate on guitar hero I review, which is here, in the place of you the gilthead, the person who takes their starlit eyes all over the place. The list of songs I just c and p as I it would have taken me longer to have typed all that and it is enough of great quality that if I typed it out the absence of a few songs may possibly have happened that would have been terrible for you but I will say that as it is near the end of the review the rating you give me won't form much of a difference. Don't forget that I mentioned you long before the song list - I told you a lot of things about myself; I called you a name |gilthead|. However most importantly I have told you my idea and my opinion of the game in place of some stupid person who pushes their entire small rod of musical understanding at you they would write a remade review of the game, they don't know anything about Playstation or guitar, or music. They are not ensured to be incredibly reliable. Some of them, you charge, to hear their opinion. I do not charge.
Game Modes ---------------- Play in the career mode, to open more songs, characters, stages, guitars, skins and videos. It is a much odder mode called quick play mode which allows you to jump right into the fast play to play your favourite songs immediately. All of these songs do not exist at the beginning. You must first finish the song in career mode, before you can play the song in quick play mode. When you complete the career mode you can play every song as well as you possibly can play it. A small mode is called multiplayer mode. You and your friend play each other on the guitar taking turns I played it with my friend the parrot catcher and he really enjoyed the game. My friend said it was even nicer than catching parrots or selling carpets and we played the game for 3 hours … those hours were interesting and you must know that my friend the parrot catcher is completely absurd. You can moreover precisely make yourself play the song like a hero then pass the same song and the same guitar over to your mate who will then play either terribly or he might play it better than you and if he did that then you see he would be the winner. I played the game one night with my father and he described it to be stupid as he only plays shooting/fighting games. I don't think shooting/fighting to be very pleasant to play just like those who would say a million pounds telephone or a small dice what scratched you when you rolled it would be very unpleasant as you could have wished.
Summary
1. A fun game to play on your own or with your friend. 2. Innovative, convivial the guitar becomes more like a real electric guitar! 3. Never ending list of songs from rock and roll 4. Playing the game is perfect for people who have never played a guitar and at the same time it is perfect for the types of insolents like myself e.g. guitarists, musicians, guitar fans. I really think that you will enjoy guitar hero you starlit gilthead it will turn you into a fraudster guitarist.
Guitar Hero is almost perfect in almost every manner. If you want to feel like a guitar hero, you would definitely owe it to this game - even if it takes 50 pounds of your riches, to buy and enjoy this fantastic game. It is a playstation game so fireable that I will even say it is the best game I have played on PS2.

Advantages: Excellent soundtrack; awesome gameplay; Guitar Controller is responsive and really immerses you into the experience; lots of value; beautiful graphics engine, though you won't be seeing it much. Disadvantages: Costs a heck of a lot.
