Epiphone EJ-200
Review of Epiphone EJ-200 Acoustic Guitar by
rossdev
Advantages: Big sound, Big tone
Disadvantages: Big body is not good for some tastes
First off, I will explain quickly the main specifications on this beautiful guitar:
Spruce top, Maple back, sides and neck, Jumbo sized guitar, No cutaway.
This guitar is absolutely gorgeous. If you find a picture of it, you will know exactly what I mean. First impressions on this guitar are that it looks wonderful, and is a very big bodied guitar.
This may take some getting used to, but after the first few plays, it becomes easier. The tone on ... ...I personally am an indie/rock player, but it suits blues and plays jazzy styles well too.
It isdefinitely more of a strummers guitar than a solo-ers (if that's a correct term) guitar. THe higher frets are harder to reach, and with no cutaway, getting above 15 is pretty hard. The neck is very smooth and fast to play on, almost begging the fingers to the right frets, it is so nice.
Un-amplified this guitar sounds very sweet, warm and feels so easy ...

review of Epiphone Hummingbird Acoustic Guitar
Review of Epiphone Hummingbird Acoustic Guitar by
Diamond_Joe
Advantages: very playable
Disadvantages: short sustain
The Epipiphone Hummingbird is my first Acoustic guitar i have not stolen off my dad. £300 is not a bad deal, seeing as the Gibson acoustics are all around £3000. The looks and finish of this guitar are very nice, i enjoy graphics on my guitar as long as they arent too loud, and this 'mockingbird' illustration is just plain pleasent. The shape of the guitar is perfect so that it can sit on your lap for hours and not ache, partly due to its incredibly ... ...you can get for a £300 acoustic, and times I thought I was playing an electric, the fretboard was just so slim, the strings were at perfect distance from the fretboard. The sound is not as good as the playability I must admit, probably because of the lightweight body, it is not hard enough to sustain the notes for a very long time, but I'd still say the sound and sustain are both average and what you'd expect for £300.
I am unsure as to how long ...

Rebel 4k
Review of Rebel 4K by
ILIKEMONEY
Advantages: Great guitar for the price
Disadvantages: Some items in the box are useless
...I got my tanglewood rebel 4k when I started doing standard grade music ( I think that is GCSE level in England ) and choose bass guitar as my second instrument. I already played guitar so I thought choosing the bass guitar would be an easy option and so I started to look for good deals. I then found the tanglewood rebel series on a website I thought they looked good for the price. After seeing them I then found a rebel 4k going cheap on eBay as a ... ...you don't only get the rebel 4k bass guitar you also receive a packet of tanglewood plectrums, a tanglewood guitar strap, a guitar lead, an accessories bag, an instructions sheet and a gig bag.
The plectrums are medium to thick strength but I actually just use them for my electric guitar as I prefer playing finger bass.
The guitar strap is made of excellent quality and has tanglewood printed on it, I normally don't use cheap/free straps as they ...

Martin DM
Review of Martin DM Acoustic Guitar by
superandyp
Advantages: warm sound, For a range of styles, time proven dreadnaught design.
Disadvantages: Laminated back and sides
...and blues fingerstyle and the Martin suits my style of playing. The guitar has a solid spruce top and laminated mahogany back and sides giving it a very warm sound that has improved after playing. My first impressions of the guitar was how well it was built. It had no rough edges and no other noticable imperfections. When buying the guitar i was considering a Taylor 214 and a Yamaha LL. I recomend buying the Taylor equivelent if a brighter sound ... ...that Bert Jansch gets out of his, and at this price you are paying a bit more money for the Martin heritage. After a year of owning it i have found that the top of the guitar marks easily and the body has become shiny where my arm has rested. ...

Epiphone G400
Review of Epiphone G-400 Electric Guitar by
leeds_fan_1
Advantages: Cheap, Good Quality
Disadvantages: Bad Stock Strings
I have owned this product for half a year now and am very impressed with the quality of the product, considering how cheap it is available. It is very versatile, and is capable of playing a variety of genres, but in general mostly Rock, a la ACDC/Bon Jovi, and Blues Rock. It has fantastic action and set up, and the Pickups sound great, although i would reccomend changing the strings as soon as you get it , as the stock ones arent very good and don't ...
