Epiphone G-1275
Review of Epiphone G-1275 Custom Double Neck Electric Guitar by
onlineguitarhero2
Advantages: Very versitile.
Disadvantages: Quite heavy compared to most guitars.
...So sadly like all other Epiphone SG's it is somewhat neck heavy, however if you invest in a good thick strap this should provide enough resistance to stop it taking a neck dive.
However ,alas, there is one major disadvantage to this guitar. It is almost impossible to play the frets 17-18 onwards because of the shape of the body. ...

Disadvantages: heavy, needs a guitar stand to be placed down safely
I bought this guitar of ebay last year, and when it arrived i was full of ecitement, after an hour or so fiddlign with the tone and volume knobs i found the perfect sound that i was looking for, this is such a variable bass, you can get that deep metal sound, or turn a few knobs and flick the switch , you can get a sound similar to anti flag!, it is a very good lookign guitar aswell, a ver ywell constructed fret board makes it a joy to play, it is ... ...sounds, and its looks are superb, just like many bc rich guitars, this is no ordinary loking guitar, but no to unordinary to look unatractive, the brilliantly shaped body topped of with the horns at the top of the guitar give it a very immense look, and make you look even better, i played this guitar at a gig we did in a lcal pub on boxing day last year, even with different amps etc i was able to produce to tone i wanted at a good quality, and the ...

Martin DM
Review of Martin DM Acoustic Guitar by
superandyp
Advantages: warm sound, For a range of styles, time proven dreadnaught design.
Disadvantages: Laminated back and sides
...and blues fingerstyle and the Martin suits my style of playing. The guitar has a solid spruce top and laminated mahogany back and sides giving it a very warm sound that has improved after playing. My first impressions of the guitar was how well it was built. It had no rough edges and no other noticable imperfections. When buying the guitar i was considering a Taylor 214 and a Yamaha LL. I recomend buying the Taylor equivelent if a brighter sound ... ...that Bert Jansch gets out of his, and at this price you are paying a bit more money for the Martin heritage. After a year of owning it i have found that the top of the guitar marks easily and the body has become shiny where my arm has rested. ...

Epiphone G400
Review of Epiphone G-400 Electric Guitar by
leeds_fan_1
Advantages: Cheap, Good Quality
Disadvantages: Bad Stock Strings
I have owned this product for half a year now and am very impressed with the quality of the product, considering how cheap it is available. It is very versatile, and is capable of playing a variety of genres, but in general mostly Rock, a la ACDC/Bon Jovi, and Blues Rock. It has fantastic action and set up, and the Pickups sound great, although i would reccomend changing the strings as soon as you get it , as the stock ones arent very good and don't ...

One of the best guitars I have played.
Review of Yamaha SA2200 by
Ottavia
Advantages: Good low action, beautiful to look at, versatile tone.
Disadvantages: Can fall out of tune a little too easily
Yamaha SA2200
I have owned one of these guitars now for three months and have not grown tired of playing it one bit. As it is semi acoustic it still plays loud enough unplugged for practising at home, but to really enjoy this guitar, plug it in you must! The coil tap on the tone knobs enables you to switch from humbucker to single coil sounds. This is an invaluable feature and is incredibly easy to activate. This means you can have everything from ... ...many professional players have chosen Yamaha guitars over Gibsons due to the quality and look of the instruments. Due to the versatile tone, this guitar is suitable for a lot of different playing styles. I use it for playing rock/indie/jazz and I also play in a covers band with it. If you are gigging with this guitar I would reccomend having a chromatic tuner as part of your setup as it doesn't always stay in tune as well as you'd like it. Having ...
