Sean Chambers (uk)
Advantages: beautiful appearance, feel and sound. Keeps in tune very well. Disadvantages: none
I bought this guitar about 4 years back and it is still just as beautiful as the day i bought it. In fact, i think it is sounding better as the wood ages?
It looks great, feels great, sounds great. It hardly ever goes out of tune and the sound it gives is deep in tone and strong.
I have recently started playing in a few pubs and whenever the guitar case is opened, many people admire the guitar appearance and admire it even more when they hear me ...

review of Epiphone Hummingbird Acoustic Guitar
Advantages: very playable Disadvantages: short sustain
The Epipiphone Hummingbird is my first Acoustic guitar i have not stolen off my dad. £300 is not a bad deal, seeing as the Gibson acoustics are all around £3000. The looks and finish of this guitar are very nice, i enjoy graphics on my guitar as long as they arent too loud, and this 'mockingbird' illustration is just plain pleasent. The shape of the guitar is perfect so that it can sit on your lap for hours and not ache, partly due to its incredibly ... ...you can get for a £300 acoustic, and times I thought I was playing an electric, the fretboard was just so slim, the strings were at perfect distance from the fretboard. The sound is not as good as the playability I must admit, probably because of the lightweight body, it is not hard enough to sustain the notes for a very long time, but I'd still say the sound and sustain are both average and what you'd expect for £300.
I am unsure as to how long ...

Just Go And Feel It
Advantages: Light, tough, great balance Disadvantages: Expensive
Owning Gibson is an honour and if it is Gibson J-45 rosewood acoustic it is both honour and delight. It is very is to be biased for the Taylors, Honners, Martins but with this one it is total passionate bias. Just strum it and immediately feel its out-of-the-world balance- bass, midrange, treble-as if electronically equalized. In fact the touch is great. Smooth neck, comfortablely angled. Frankly speaking it has got a tone of its own, just something ... ...doubt its toughness, go live, keep strumming J-45 takes it all with mute stoicism. As all Gibsons, J-45 do not generally have pickups. Mahogony neck, fairly midium sized, beautifully sloped shoulder body, whitebound fingerboard and headstock and ofcourse Gibson special ebony. Tell me why shouldn't Bob Dylan love it?? ...

Epiphone Dove Acoustic Guitar

...all the hallmarks of the Epiphone Dove Acoustic Guitar, it is sister to the Epiphone Hummingbird. This baby really sings with a solid sound, its has staggeringly beautiful maple back and sides. My Love affair with a D28
Advantages: Everything Disadvantages: None that I know
The C.F. Martin Company is an american guitar manufacturer established in 1833, and have consistantly produced some of the worlds finest acoustic gutars. Used by stars like Eric Clapton, Johnny Cash and many many others.
The D28 design was first introduced around 1934, and is almost unchanged since. The letter D indicates that it is a dreadnought size body, and the number 28 is the design number. A standard 14 fret design, built from Rosewood, Mahogany, ... ...and played a D28 for some years now, and am delighted with every aspect of the instrument. The build quality, looks and feel of the instrument leave you in no doubt that this is a quality instrument.
It very capably handles hard driving rhythm playing, with a strong but balanced sound, and will respond equally well to gentle fingerpicking styles.
A beautifully balanced instrument, that if cared for will last a lifetime, and improve with age, as ...
