review of Epiphone Hummingbird Acoustic Guitar
Advantages: very playable Disadvantages: short sustain
The Epipiphone Hummingbird is my first Acoustic guitar i have not stolen off my dad. £300 is not a bad deal, seeing as the Gibson acoustics are all around £3000. The looks and finish of this guitar are very nice, i enjoy graphics on my guitar as long as they arent too loud, and this 'mockingbird' illustration is just plain pleasent. The shape of the guitar is perfect so that it can sit on your lap for hours and not ache, partly due to its incredibly ... ...you can get for a £300 acoustic, and times I thought I was playing an electric, the fretboard was just so slim, the strings were at perfect distance from the fretboard. The sound is not as good as the playability I must admit, probably because of the lightweight body, it is not hard enough to sustain the notes for a very long time, but I'd still say the sound and sustain are both average and what you'd expect for £300.
I am unsure as to how long ...

Tune in Tokyo!
Advantages: Good quality. Comfortable. Disadvantages: Its not a Martin.
Yamaha has been making musical instruments for quite a long time. They have it down to an art form and when it comes to quality, I would rank them among the best.
As for their acoustic guitars, I have often wondered why they arent more popular among the superstar musicians, as I have found them to be better than the more well known name brands, in the acoustic guitar department.
Yamaha acoustic guitars have a really nice and crisp sound, and the ... ...In my opinion, the Yamaha acoustic guitars are every bit as good as the bigger names. Martin acoustics are probably the best, but you can still hang with the big boys on a Yamaha!
This particular model is not the top end for Yamaha, but it is very durable, has a great sound and plays very well. ...

For beginners...
Advantages: Cheap, good size Disadvantages: Soft sound, too much bass
This acoustic guitar is great for beginers. Not that a pro could'nt play it, or that a beginer couldn't play a 2000$ guitar, it's just that if you don't know if you'll play guitar for a long time, investing 2000$ is not a good idea. It will give you a great idea what it is to play guitar. This guitar is normal-sized, so it is not too small. It is also solidly built and, has I had it for 3 years now, I can say that it hasn't changed at all.. Sound ... ...are not coming out of the fretboard. Apart from that, the sound quality is not good. Even if you beat the guitar with a 1.0mm thick pick, it doesn't have a full and loud sound. It also has too much bass in it. It is also not very pleasant to play because of a too high action... ...

Brilliant guitar, ultra fast and comfortable.
Advantages: Well made, plays great, smooth quick neck, comfortable guitar and low B Disadvantages: Bad stock pickups, thin finish chips easily.
...in comparison.
It's an Ibanez Prestige guitar so it’s top of the range, flawless construction, very comfortable and very easy to play with a thin smooth neck.
It features the Edge Pro 7 which is Ibanez's own tremolo design and its fantastic, easy to palm mute on, easy to change strings, and keeps the tuning very stable.
Now on to the bad,
Ibanez has (presumably for cost) taken steps to make their finishes as thin as possible and that results ... ...you have to be very careful with it to keep it in good condition (something which I don’t mind, I babied it to near mint condition as with my other guitars).
The pickups are awful, very muddy which means that you lose definition of notes, they blur in to each other under distortion when playing the low B, fortunately there is a wealth of decent 7 string pickups out there to remedy this problem. Also upping the gauge of the low B can help with muddyness, ...
