Review of Yamaha CJ12 Country Jumbo Acoustic Guitar by
mc1973
Advantages: A truly brilliant guitar at a truly brilliant price.
Disadvantages: Having to buy a jumbo size hard case. (bit more pricey).
...far wrong investing in a Yamaha CJ12.
this guitar is ideally suited to those who may be finding the guitar that they learned on is becoming increasingly hard and frustrating to play, maybe due to poor action or poor build quality.
The CJ12 is an exact (more or less) model to the CJ120, however the 120 costs around £1000.
Reatailing at about £325 this guitar feels and plays like a guitar of twice the price, also the sound quality is phenomenal.

Ovation Country Artist Classical Electric
Review of Ovation Country Artist 6773 Classical Guitar by
Uglybro
Advantages: Price, playability, craftmanship, live and recorded sound
Disadvantages: average acoutic sound, round back guitar
The Ovation Country Artist classical guitar is what one would expect from and American made Ovation. It is equally at home on the stage or in the studio. The acoustic sound is unbalanced, as the wound strings over power the nylon/gut strings, but plug it in and this guitar shines. Each string has an idividual peizo transducer which is coupled with a pre-amp that has a four band EQ and a notch filter to elimenate feed-back during live performances. ... ...muddy up a recording. This guitar is well made. The seka spruce top has a flawless clear finish; the head stock has side mounted ornate slot tuners which are beatiful to look at and a pleasure to use; the neck is wide and thin and very easy to finger with ample room between strings; fret work is imaculate; the intonation of the ebony board is excellent. A nice touch is the wooden flower inlay at the 12th fret which matches the ornate sound hole inlay. ...

So comfortable it even helps with your playing
Review of Fender 72 Telecaster Custom Electric Guitar by
lufcwls
Advantages: The neck is perfect, no stretching and very comfortable
Disadvantages: Nowhere to put a whammy bar
...it. Much better than the fender strat squire I began with, the fret boards lighter coloured wood looks better and in my opinion makes it easier to see what your doing. The neck has the best feel I have ever felt from any guitar I have played. The neck is quite skinny so easy to get your fingers around for people who suffer from that problem but it doesn't compramise on the fret boards width, i.e. the strings are not too close together. Its not that ...

No competition for the Pacifica
Review of Yamaha Pacifica PAC112 Double Cutaway Electric Guitar by
silentdice
Advantages: Very cheap to buy, very nice sound.
Disadvantages: Boring standard shape.
...to anyone starting guitar.
The Yamaha Pacifica sounds much better than any other guitar in its price range, and is much more versatile. It is a combination of the telecaster and stratocaster style sounds.
The guitar is also very strong, its a heavy, well built guitar. I have never had any problems with my pacifica, and now mine is more than 10 years old, the only problem I have with it is the pick guard has turned a slight yellowy colour. Maybe ...

Buy this
Review of Fender Standard Telecaster Electric Guitar by
joeyerr
Advantages: Excellent value, fast playability, Light
Disadvantages: Not enough frets, not for all style of music
So I purchased this online after trying it out at my local guitar shop, and I was very surprised at the standard of the guitar for the low price a paid (£280 new).
Themaple neck makes it sooo easy to play, much better than rosewood, and this gitar is VERY light, allowing me to throw it around and jump about without struggling with the weight unlike many other guitars. It also stays in tune no matter how hard you play it which was also a big plus ... ...put in is that firstly it is a little short of frets (21), and preferably I would've liked to have a 22 fret guitar but hey you can't have it all. The factory set up was also a bit bad, but only needed to change the action as there was a lot of fret buzz.
Dependiong on your style of music this guitar is great, if you play heavier styles then you may want to fit maybe a seymour duncan hot rails humbucker (single coil) size in the bridge as this really ...
