What a price for a great quality
Advantages: Preamp with intergrated tuner, well constructed, rich, warm tone Disadvantages: Quite heavy to carry on stage
...gift I've ever had. This Takamine guitar has a Rosewood fretboard and a cutaway shape, which allows playing at the higher frets with ease. The first time I played it, the guitar produced a clear and warm tone that just took me right away. It even sound better when plugged into the amp. The pre-amp of this guitar has a built-in tunner, which is great for beginners who dont know how to tune the strings. Even for me, when playing gigs, this tuner is ... ...cam play all styles of music with this guitar, but I love to play Jack Johnson's with it. \the strumming sounds great with warm and full tone. Just really love it.
And the best thing about this guitar, is the price! Whe my friend gave it to me, I thought it would cost at least $1000, but was surprised later when saw its real price online. So if you are a beginner this is a great guitar that will be together with you from the day you start to the ...

Brilliant guitar, ultra fast and comfortable.
Advantages: Well made, plays great, smooth quick neck, comfortable guitar and low B Disadvantages: Bad stock pickups, thin finish chips easily.
...in comparison.
It's an Ibanez Prestige guitar so it’s top of the range, flawless construction, very comfortable and very easy to play with a thin smooth neck.
It features the Edge Pro 7 which is Ibanez's own tremolo design and its fantastic, easy to palm mute on, easy to change strings, and keeps the tuning very stable.
Now on to the bad,
Ibanez has (presumably for cost) taken steps to make their finishes as thin as possible and that results ... ...you have to be very careful with it to keep it in good condition (something which I don’t mind, I babied it to near mint condition as with my other guitars).
The pickups are awful, very muddy which means that you lose definition of notes, they blur in to each other under distortion when playing the low B, fortunately there is a wealth of decent 7 string pickups out there to remedy this problem. Also upping the gauge of the low B can help with muddyness, ...

Gibson SG standard...
Advantages: Stunning looks. Amazing sound (Clean + Distorted). Amazingly Light. Disadvantages: Newer Models can be weak at the neck.
...guitar was in its official gibson hard-case and I was holding it upright with the bottom of the case of the floor and I had my hands on the top of the case. Now... Im not quite sure who these people were but they must have been about 16 years old there or there about, but they were running up and down this corridor like lunatics, anyway so they had all this space to be running around, and one of them decides to to try and run in the small gap between ... ...a couple of years before, Gibson went through money troubles and stopped making the SG and Les Paul Standards with the 3pc necks, which if that is true, is completely ridiculous as they made the weakest part of the guitar weaker. But other than that one problem this guitar is the best investment I have made, even after the major breakage the guitar stays in tune perfectly and there are no problems with the intonation. The guitar in my opinion is ...
