Vintage V100 - love it!

Advantages: Sounds excellent, good value for money and looks really good
Disadvantages: May be slightly misleading, It doesn't sound exactly like a gibson!

Review of Vintage ICON V100MR

Vintage VRS100 - Blue

Advantages: The Wilkinson hardware. The playability. Good value.
Disadvantages: The blue finish hides the flamed maple veneer. Tone+Volume knobs. Serial number format.

...is a PRS copy and Vintage have pretty much nailed the body shape! It's a Double-cut. Vintage says the VRS means "Vintage Rock Series". The finish I chose for this guitar was the "through blue". A very dark blue finish on the front with a lighter greeny-blue on the back and neck. This finish is semi transparent (you can see the wood). Through blue is now a discontinued colour. Review of Vintage VRS100 Electric Guitar

The Greatest Budget Electro Acoustic Around!!!

Advantages: With the treble turned all the way down it becomes a bass guitar. I kid you not.
Disadvantages: Can feed back a bit

Review of Ibanez TCM50

Brilliant guitar, ultra fast and comfortable.

Advantages: Well made, plays great, smooth quick neck, comfortable guitar and low B
Disadvantages: Bad stock pickups, thin finish chips easily.

...you have to be very careful with it to keep it in good condition (something which I don’t mind, I babied it to near mint condition as with my other guitars). The pickups are awful, very muddy which means that you lose definition of notes, they blur in to each other under distortion when playing the low B, fortunately there is a wealth of decent 7 string pickups out there to remedy this problem. Review of Ibanez RG1527 7-String Electric Guitar

Gibson SG standard...

Advantages: Stunning looks. Amazing sound (Clean + Distorted). Amazingly Light.
Disadvantages: Newer Models can be weak at the neck.
