...(which is water only). As I’ve used Montagne Jeunesse sachets before I knew they opened easily without scissors, which I guess is not a major point but it’s easier to get into the mind frame to relax when you’ve not been trying to bite open a packet for a few minutes to then admit defeat and have to spend even longer scouting round the house trying to locate the scissors.
The mask was easy to squeeze out of the sachet because it was quite runny. It was sort of more like runny clay than the very thick muds you can get. It was a nice blue/green colour but smelt a bit iffy – sort of like the sea, which is understandable after looking at the packet because it says “new with sea kelp nutrients”. I know sea kelp is meant to be very good for skin, and it wasn’t unpleasant, just not perfumed or pretty smelling, more spa-like and fresh.

Advantages: Deep cleans, softens and smoothens skin, cheap Disadvantages: Irritates my sensitive skin
...information and directions, again in several languages. The lid fastens securely but the hinge feels rather flimsy and I’d guess it would be easily broken.

Origins state that Clear Improvement is suitable for all skin types and that you should leave it to dry before removing it. I would suggest that those with dry skin would only need to keep it on for about 5-10minutes (if they need it at all).
RESULTS
Immediately after rinsing this off and drying my face it feels lovely and soft to the touch. I find that after a mudmask my face can feel slightly dry/tight and this one is the same so I generally apply moisturiser soon after. You have to wait a few days to reap the full benefits of this mask.
The following day you will either find that your skin is really clear and smooth or you’ll have a few spots (!) If you get the latter don’t be alarmed as this is a sign that the mask is working because in order to clear...

There is no doubt about it – Elizabeth Arden Modern SkinCare ‘Clear the Way’ Mask is superb for exfoliating your face. Clocking in at around £15 for 100ml, it is admittedly rather pricey and definitely something I wouldn’t... more
