Advantages: Great variety of effects, and easy to operate. Disadvantages: There's now a Zoom 707 II!
...be assigned to a great many effects for some truly inspirational creations (I have one that turns single harmonics into wild, multi-layered whale songs!) and used with the wah you get a reasonably impressive noise (though the basic wah effect can easily be improved on - the internet patch sites help with this). My favourite effect is without doubt "Van Halen" which the makers have wisely protected from deletion by placing it in the non-user bank. It is a truly incredible sound - full-bodied, rich as the blood a stallion and rock to the core. If you use this effect on recordings, levels maxed, plug it straight into your computer (no amp) and the noise is simply incredible - it will drive you into a frenzy if you let it get to you.
