HMV.co.uk is a site that I've only shopped at or odered from a few times but yet its one that I check regularly and that I find is very competitive. I tend to buy alot of DVDs and video games and the main recreational stuff I like to collect/buy on Ebay but when I decide that I want to buy brand new items online then the two websites that I check first are Play.com (I've already written a review about this site - check it out if your interested) ...

I tend to use a variety of online shops for any cd's or dvd's that I may want. I normally do a few prices comparisons to see who comes up trumps on what I am looking for. HMV being one of the sites that I do always check to see if they have anything cheap and sometimes they do beat the rest of the competition. Being a premium retailer you find that they tend to stick to a certain discount off recommended retails and new release dvd's and cd's you are probably better geting from somewhere that exports them in from the likes of Hong Kong which can afford to sell them cheaper, however HMV have a reputation that they ahve to uphold. If you are like me and are into your music and films and don't mind shopping online then you can get some great bargains at HMV.co.uk. I have been registered with them now for about 2 years and have regularly used there services, especially as a student cos they are one of the only music retail outlets to offer students 10% discount which doesn't sound much but it mounts up.
