I once went through a poor pityful stage in my life where I would walk in to HMV and be prepared to pay upto about £17 for a new CD (if they actually had what I wanted - which hardly ever happened!!!). A couple of weeks ago though, I started looking at thier UK website, and I was very suprised to see that when I searched for them, I managed to successfully find, and I ended up buying 5, classic punk CDs from some relatively rare American bands. I checked the site once before about 2 months ago, but it seemed pretty unhelpful. I don't know what happened recently though!! It's so good. Instead of paying 17 or 18 quid in the shop (which is pretty disgusting actually!!!), I payed an average of just under 12, with an extra 5 for 24 hour postage (they obviously couldn't get them to me in 1 day because they had to ship most of them in from the States, but I received them exactly 1 week later). I received email updates of how my orders progress was advancing, and was informed each time anything happened. I would rate it higher if it wasn't so expensive in the store.
