Website ordering and processing is straightforward enough and the website is quite straightforward to use but when there is a problem with any item you receive that is when the problems begin.
I received a double disk DVD but on playing it even though one said disk 1 and the other disk 2 it was clear that they were the same and both in fact disk 2. Not HMV's fault clearly a manufacturing error.
Phoned up customer services on 27 October 08 using a ordinary (not 0845) phone number I had acquired with previous problems and explained the problem and was asked to send just back the disk 1 to freepost address in Guernsey. This I did on same day with a covering letter so that there was no confusion.
As nothing heard from HMV I phoned again on 18 Nov asking when I could expect correct Disk 1. I was told my problem would be passed to a manager to deal with and I could expect a e-mail or phone call.
On 24 Nov still not a word from HMV - phoned customer services again and they tried to fob me off again with they would pass problem to manager but I couldn't talk to him as he was on a break. I was really annoyed by attitude and after puting me on hold again I was told my Disk 1 would be sent out today and I would get an e-mail to confirm. So far nothing! Never again HMV!

Hi, and welcome to Ciao, it does sound like a bad experience. However, the review really needs more information about the actual online shop to make it more helpful - have a look at the reviews of more experienced members to get an idea! Best wishes, MaryX
