There was so much information on it and even reviews from people who had stayed in the resorts and hotels before; their opinions were very interesting. Once you have done this you can go anywhere on the website and look at anything, and there is a lot to browse at. You could spend hours on here!

Lets face it there is nothing worse than turning up to your hotel when on holiday thinking its going to be beautiful because you've read all about it in the brochures and even seen pictures, only to find that it is really nothing like the hotel you had in mind! It has happened to most of us at one time or another and is a real nightmare. Before I went to Cyprus last summer a friend of mine recommended that I use holidaywatchdog.com and look up both the resort I was thinking of staying at and any possible hotels before confirming any booking. I took the advice and found the website very easy to use and very helpful indeed. There was so much information on it and even reviews from people who had stayed in the resorts and hotels before; their opinions were very interesting. You can navigate through the website anyway you choose, but the simplest way is to pick a region of the world which you want to look at (found at the top) and then work you're way from resorts through to hotels. You can also pick the type of holiday you wish to look at from beach, ski, cruise, city break or holiday park. Once you have made you're decision you can access reviews from holidaymakers, video reviews, photo's of resorts and hotels and lists of the best places to visit and top rated hotels. There is even a holiday forum in which you can chat to other people on a variety topics on the many discussion boards on offer. Examples are hotels, resorts, airlines and airports - basically you can chat about whatever you want and share you're views and experiences with other people.

I found this website very helpful as it enabled me to get truthful and up to date information on the resorts and hotels that I was considering staying at; thus allowing me to make the best decision. I found the written reviews and the photo's particularly helpful because you get to hear and see things that you don't necessarily get in brochures or through speaking to a travel agent, which is nice. The people who write on the website are doing so because they genuinely want to help you in making your holiday as good as it could be and not like many travel agents who just flog you a holiday because they want to make money. If you are going away in the near future then I would definitely recommend that you view this website - what have you go to lose? It could just save you from staying in a poor hotel and a miserable holiday.
