HP 22 COLOUR INKJET PRINT CARTRIDGE
My previous Hewlett Packard printer recently decided to call it a day, and join printer heaven via the local recycling centre.
I ended up buying a Hewlett Packard Printer / Scanner / Copier which takes HP 21 and HP 22 Inkjet Print Cartridges.
HP 22 PACKAGING AND CONTENTS
The packaging itself makes it look as if you are getting a larger cartridge than the one you actually get. For those of you that are into minimal packaging, then I would say that there is too much packaging, in the form of cardboard, and depending on where you buy them from, these are then further packaged into a see through plastic holder. The cartridges that I have bought recently come from various parts of the world, but include Singapore.
The ink cartridge itself is only 5 ml, and will print approximately 165 pages.
This is a tri-colour cartridge, with the following colours: - cyan, magenta and yellow.
PRINTER COMPATABILITY
The cartridge can be used in the following printers:-
The cartridge price depends on where you purchase them from, but range from £10.00 to about £15.00. As I have already mentioned, you will get approximately 165 pages from the cartridge, which if you take the middle of the road price, works out at about 8 pence per page. I have found that buying the cartridges online actually works out cheaper than buying them from a shop in the high street.
INSTALLATION AND USAGE RECOMMENDATION
Installing the cartridge itself is simplicity itself, simply lifting the cartridge cover in the printer, removing the used cartridge, and then clicking the new cartridge in place and then replacing the cartridge cover. Simple instructions are included with the printer, which you do not even have to read, as the instructions are done in a picture format.
With regards to the type of user, I would suggest that this is for the low to moderate user, and not recommended for a volume user e.g. office or school, or else you would be replacing the cartridges on a regular basis.
The cartridge contains HP dye based inks and I must admit, the quality is excellent but I would not recommend it for photo and special project printing.
HP WARRANTY
HP warrants that HP products are free from defects in workmanship or material under normal use in accordance with specifications until the date marked on the product. Warranty does not cover empty products or products that have been modified in any way.
USE BY DATE
Each box that you purchase does come with an installation date, so when purchasing one of these cartridges, please ensure that it is within date.
RECYCLING
As with the majority of ink cartridges, you can recycle these once they have been used. The choice is yours as to where you recycle them however, but I would recommend one of the many charities that would benefit financially from your customer
SHORT SUMMARY
Ideally for the smaller user Ink cartridge is small compared to many others on the market Volume usage could work out expensive
Further to comments below, the HP Warranty is the same warranty for the different cartridges, the use by date is as stated and the details do not change from cartridge to cartridge, the recycling is standard on the different cartridges and do not change.

Futher to your comment below If It had only been installation and packaging that were almost identical I would have been fine with that.but nearly all the paragraphs in your reviews are almost identical including HP WARRANTY, USE BY DATE , RECYCLING, SHORT SUMMARY.
