HP 27A - toner cartridge

Advantages: Ease of use, reliability, print quality
Disadvantages: Quite expensive

.... There is a plastic strip that needs to be removed from the new toner cartridge before it can be used or no ink will come out! The HP 1100 has a clear and sharp quality to its printed images and each of these toners seems to give a consistent printing performance. On the packing HP warn us that the toner cartridge is responsible for 70% of the printer’s imaging system and so if you are not using an HP toner you are not getting HP printing. I can’t really make any argument against this point as my company has a policy of avoiding the use of non-HP replacement toners; therefore I cannot say whether a different toner type would have a dramatic effect on the printing quality or not! Advantages: have found a cheep source and cost per page is very cheep
Disadvantages: buying from recommended dealers can be expensive

...We have recently purchased a new genuine HP tonor cart from "toner-inc" on ebay, for £22.20 plus £5.00 for post and packageing. Parcel arrived a few days after paypal payment. I was plesently surprised to see that the tonor cart box was unopened and the tonor cart still sealed in its original bag. Have now started useing his tonor cart. With 4 kids at school and a wife at college, we print a lot over 2 reams a week on adverage ( 1000 sheets). so to be able to find a cheep supply of genuine hp tonor carts is a bonus. one point tho they dont seem to leave any feedback which is a great shame.. but would deffo buy from "toner-inc" again I cannot understand why HP or there dealers persist in selling there genuine tonor carts at expenssive prices....
